Well I'm #92 in the USA, so there! LOL. But that's probably because this is my first season. I entered on the last playoff day of season 2 or something like that.

In that case very well done!!!! You will likely shoot up the rankings until you get to the teams who have been here for a few seasons and are active. After that it will take awhile and a steady game-plan but it is definitely achievable.... do I sound like an encouraging parent yet?

I am actually in that spot you all are talking about. I didn't think I had a chance of promoting, but here I am in the finals. I can tell you straight up, that even though I know I will get killed in I.1 there is no way I'm throwing a league championship series.

Now, having said that, I don't expect to win the finals. The team I'm playing, although a lower seed, beat me both times this season and has a higher team strength and has used less energy. I'll need some real lucky breaks to pull it off.

Also, it would absolutely annoy the heck out of me if the team I was playing purposely lost to get demoted. I want to earn promotion, not get it like that.

LOL yes. My plan is primarily to build my team through the SA, but not exclusively. I've bought a couple of players around 170-190 OR, which is better than my normal guys I started with. But I'm focusing on growing through facilities, which I know takes longer but am convinced is better in the long run.

WAY better in the long run. In a few seasons once your facilities are 10+ you will really reap the rewards. 15-18 year olds will strictly train while your older guys are unreal and play games all the time. That's my play anyways.

That's the spirit! IMO it's better to get beaten in a higher division than dominate a lower. To be honest last season I had thought long and hard about perhaps staying in II.2 but decided I would be miserable even if stronger (which I dont think I would have been). Besides, what happens if the following season when you want to promote you get bit by the random bug if nothign else and fail to promote when you wanted.

regarding growth I like the SA even tho it can be VERY frustrating not getting good pulls for months on end. I also do like the buying high quality players and training them up route. So far it seems like the SA is the higher reward and more sure thing tho.

Sweet! I'm definitely looking forward to it. I've got a 6 training facility and 5 regen working on 6. I'm working on a level 6 economy dept., since I'm really counting on a decent contract. Hopefully lol.

my regen is admittedly now behind a level but i agree they should go hand in hand
