Nice! I just noticed that old friend and long-time STL Saint Waldo Gould is back in USA I.1 with the Mobile Rain, after a one-season tour with two different teams in the Czech Republic.
Gould should be a good player for the Mobile Rain, but his last team made a very bad investment (though it looks like the Mobile Rain got him as a UFA-II and the last team chose not to match the new offer). It's odd that he sold for around 20,000,000 twice with a sale of 80,000,000 in the middle (from earlier this season with the same CL and probably a similar OR).
That's how much they worth right now. I just bough a player with similar OR but 3 years younger for 25m. Previous owner definitely made bad investment. He is not worth 80m.
It looks like the manager of Gould's last team was inactive during much of the period when it was possible to match offers for Gould and since then.
Yeah I saw an opportunity and pounced... it's more for next year since him and the rest of my old farts are pretty much out of gas between season play, a long NC run, and CWC
I was hoping to win against the Rainbow Unicorns to demote into the only division II league that I haven't played in yet (II.4), however, I just scheduled a game against a team that would complete my puck collection on Monday. I've been waiting for 10 seasons to play a game against a division II Turkish team with a puck. Since I am down 0-1, hopefully I will lose on Monday so I don't have to play a game on Tuesday. I will be using counterattacks on Monday.
Tough loss Outsider. This is the best I have ever done. Also a note there are two teams from Montana in the final four.

I've found an A+ caliber player. I think I should have the highest odds at the first bid since the dead teams draft at the end of the first round.
I'm surprised that some good teams have folded this season.

I have found 2 A+ players. yes it sad to see some of the old teams go. If they restructure it will most likely cost us money for next season.
Congrats again Thugs. I achieved my high point - 2nd place in regular season and playoffs. Don't have the finances to get the horses to compete w/ Thugs but I'll hang in there and compete as best I can. GL to all next season.
