Pretty quite in our league. Kinda hoping to get some banter going. With that in mind and looking at some of the up and coming teams for the US of A, why Goldfish? What's the back story on that? Also, do you still play the old hockey manager sport we where both in? I cannot remember the name, but always remembered you being much better than me. I quit because I liked this game much better. The management is always trying new things and working to get the game better, in my opinion. The other hockey manager game did not change anything for years on end. I picked up a new USA player only because he came from the old captain of our country.....Irresistible Force. He was top 5 in the world every season it seemed. Would like to see some USA flags up on the world stage again. Happy turkey day all!

That is only an illusion. Most of it goes to try and keep my free agents. As you can see from my roster, I used to have many good young prospects that I purchased.....which basically formed the team I have now. The cost of free agency has me only looking for bargains.......so no worry regarding these players, they are too good a prospect to make my budget. Bid away my friend......I'm looking for scraps.

I just noticed that the Boilermakers are about to fold. I'm going to fill out the U18 roster with good prospects from the Boilermakers. Hopefully the U20 and senior teams will have a chance to take a look as well.

I hope he comes back before he loses the team.

His teams in soccer, handball, and basketball already folded. I think the Boilermakers could fold by the end of the day unless he logs on today.

I added all the players that look interesting, though I'll take requests to add one or two more if anyone wants someone like Rollins. Unfortunately, the Boilermakers have been one of the top producers of prospects for the last ~5 seasons, so a lot of good players in their early 20's are going to be lost, unless Obryantj logs in soon. The senior team can possibly add 2 of them.

It looks like it's official now. Captain97G seems to have been able to log in to at least save Burks and Barker. A bunch of his hockey players are now on the market.

Well that stinks. Loss of good player, must stink. Didn't know him because I'm still trying to get back into ppm after making it to d2 but loosing my team.

As you alluded to, I made my first hockey team in that other game over a decade ago at this point. Samurifish was a handle I had been using even prior to that. Goldfish were the pets I had as a kid. And I liked Samurai movies haha.

I quit that other game some years back as well. The developer had gone pretty ghost, and this game had already surpassed it in most ways.
