I'll be dropping down to II.1 (highest number to lowest league?). The worst team to survive down there has a 45OTS. And their players are probably dead tired. My OTS is 38 with my players are around 88-90 energy. That's lower than I thought. I might get a decent boost.

I don't think I'm going to fight too hard to survive anyway. I think a season in III will do my team some good. My goal is to be able to promote right back up and compete for a playoff spot in season 14. It'll be interesting to follow my OTS season by season.

been away for a few seasons. any radical improvement in the game engine? I see the new interface and Im not impressed... seemed more fluid before.

Welcome back Yetis. Kinda bad to start from the beginning again. The new interface is good. You will just need a week to get used to it.

I dunno if i am staying. I was disenfranchised when i left. I'm not sure if I am seeing that much has changed to bring me back for good.

If you want to be the best, you had to have started from day one. The team I had was good for II, or III but only average in I, despite the effort i put in. It was bleeding money, sponsors were random and unreliable. The game engine was kindah stale and left alot to be desired ( imho ). Just checkin in to see what's what after a long time.

Its gets harder every season. Now its almost impossible to get a good player on the market for a decent price. Those top teams from day 1, are just so far ahead, money wise.

I'm very surprised that you did this. I was really nervous when you bought all of these young studs last season. To me that meant you were set to dominate for another 10-15 seasons. Now you're stuck with those old guys. Although I guess you could just buy a couple of 500M players each season and still be okay

to be honest not sure I'll be around (or the game around) long enough for my 15 yo's to ever be useful

good question, I'd be amazed if he, or anyone, can come up with an answer to that which hasn't been already suggested and dismissed by PPM.

the top teams have all maxxed out their facilities now - or are very close to it - so the amount of money that was 'leaving' the game has been greatly reduced. This has lead to huge inflation on the best players on the market and will make it even harder for anyone starting now to catch up. I have 1.2 billion in cash and I'm currently something like #6 on the money list.

Granted a lot of teams are seeing the need to replace older players now (or pay for them in free agency to keep them) but so far the financial side has overshadowed that need.

All players have the same builds more or less and everyone is after the same type of player so there's no way to build a niche team or anything like that either.

What do you think about changing the fee that gets taken from each transfer to a graduated scale? The higher the final fee, the higher percentage that gets "paid" to the league instead of the selling team.

What's going to happen next is all the teams that are "trying" to make it to the top will have their 26 year old core players poached for amounts that they can't afford to meet. The top teams with maxed economy will fill their holes with top free agent talent and the teams "rising" will be knocked down one star at a time.

A greater fee on huge transfers and disproportionally high salary for players in the top 1 or 5 percent in the world would help
