Like Goldfish said, if you win you play me. If you beat me you have a chance to play goldfish, but if you come in 2nd you also get a chance to play a I.1 team that's relegating. We get the 20th seed from I.1 automatically, and the 16th seed in a promotion series.

Highest seed always gets lowest seed. The brackets will rearange to do that. Look at last years I.1 playoff bracket. Seeds 1 & 2 are both on left side and that is not how these brackets start.

I think that was the type of game we expected to have tujague. Game 3 was definitely a classic.

I thought it would end up like that as well. However, the Swamp Foxes won their series today. Looks like it'll still be a battle to win the promotion/relegation round.

Holy crap! I wish I could have watched that one. Wow. That is just about as perfect an ending as you will ever see to a series. Check out that box score, people.

0-0 late in the third. Boilermakers score with less than 6 minutes to go. Bombsville ties it up less than 2 minutes later. Eight rounds into the shootout and no one has scored a single goal. You finally score in the ninth. Bottom of the inning has my best player against your monster goalie. And the goalie prevails. Amazing ending. Hollywood ending.

yep, I knew even un-manned the foxes would be strong, but the 4 teams playing out now are all tough, so looks like the only sure way to promise is to get the 1 :p

Almost got Fish on the 2nd game

Nice win today TC. I kept waiting for my guys to score a goal, but it never happened. Failing to score on the 1st period 5 on 3 really did me in.

Also, props to shortkickr for the game 1 upset. The Goldfish are a top 10 team in the US and he's definitely aiming for promotion.

Why did both of those guys play on Low?

Won my almost meaningless game 4-1. I'm tempted to put the kids back in, but I want to close out the series too. Decisions, decisions.

For real? The second round of playoffs is my ultimate arch nemesis. I don't want to jinx myself but I've been choking and losing in ridiculous upsets for seasons.

I have a huge advantage in shots and faceoffs, and am way superior in every strength category and still lose? One of 37 shots doesn't go in against a goalie who wouldn't break my top 25 players in OR?

Well, Boilermakers is still active, I noticed that too, I guess he took the name Boliermakers since boilermakers was taken already.

He didn't fold until yesterday, so you won the series while the team still had a manager. I never was a fan of that guy for some reason....
