just wondering, since we scout all players from 15 yo for the U20 team, are you working with the same file for the U18? It would make sense to all benefit from that scouting tool.

Not entirely clear on your meaning. We gave our list to Krokador a couple of seasons back. We have a database of any 17-18 year old of note from Canada as far as we know. This season we did a shortlist of maybe 15 16 year olds and will add 3-4 soon to the roster for an early start for next season. I refuse to scout 15 year old's because the game doesn't give an allowance for national team GM's for scouting and I refuse to spend more of my own scouting resources to check that far down the line. We need those to look in YOUR window... [smiley face icon]

I have a big spreadsheet of all players of note 15-20yo (at any point since I started being the U20 GM), which is how I sometimes manage to come up with guys you may not have seen, like Neal. Thing is, I only ever update the 19-20 yo and my own players unless I'm looking for something really specific, because MAN, there are a TON of players O_o (and I only have limited time resources). I *think* I have shared the link with you at some point, but I may not have...

It's a little confusing though, to have other people adding players, because then I can't figure out if I've scouted them already without clicking on them xD

If you want us to know who entered the player ratings last, maybe we could just put a new column with our initials or smtg. This way it would be less confusing.

Did you guys finish scouting Ziegler? I have him scouted now.

His Q's are good, though probably a second tier prospect, and his starting OR is pretty low.

yeah I scouted him. He's quite a decent prospect. All necessary Qs are quite high. As you said, OR is quite low which may pose a problem for U18s, but I still think he is a quality player for you. Maybe not NTs caliber I guess.

haha yes I agree. I was very impressed when she shared it with me. I had no idea how organized the NTs were. I actually thought we were all working off of this one. From what you said afterwards, I started thinking maybe you weren't. Which is why I asked.

Just pulled Abraham Rioux Decent unscouted Qs for a Universal winger. Will be fully scouted tomorrow.

Too bad Azzoparde went to such a new team. That will affect the U20 team more than us though. Thought about a serious bid but thought our level 14 was inadequate. Obviously not...
