3D would cause a tonne of server load and graphics development. What makes a game like this is not the graphics etc it's the quality of the management options and how in-depth it is. And if you play for free I think it's enough that you are on a level playing field. If you support the game so everyone can play it then you should get all the little perks

That's some solid feedback. I agree whole heartedly. And this is from someone who had a hockey team jump into to the top 25 in OTR that had no business being there...
Haha saint2e is 4th in NC seeding and is the first to admit he has no right. He should be top-20 since he's in I.1, but top-5 I agree is wrong.
I don't agree with the 3D play thing either.
I think they need to fix the OTR, Cookie cutter teams, and incentive to stay in higher leagues.

i agree on the OTR. I can barely manage a win in II.1 and I started the season with the totally undeserved #18 ranked OTR in the country, makes no sense.
Outside of gameplay though, I wouldn't want to leave PPM because of all the good people on here. I have a lot of fun talking to people on the forums, sometimes more fun than the game itself (especially when losing like I am right now).

01. Drop the ratio-build.
Make every stats useful, drop goalie for forward to hitting and change defensive and offensive for goalie for upper reflexes and lower reflexes.
It would need a little bit of engine tweaking but unless it's just for the hell of it, I can't see anyone still playing if he's at the top. Since everyone has or will have a near perfect ratio-build team, you can't beat them (unless from an upset or pure randomness) if you don't have one yourself. I remember when I started, I logged everyday making changes here and there. Then I learned about the ratio-build and loss interest (which is also why I haven't paid for a pro-pack yet).
02. Drop that 15 year old non-sense.
It's hockey here. They should start at 18 like any player drafted. Or else, every players under 18 can only play special under 18 matches.
03. Tweak the whole budget.
Player salaries and staff salaries are painfully ridiculous. Give "realistic" ice hockey salaries and cap the budget from divisions and league. The best team will still be strong but won't be able to tank it all and be able to swap everyone without making tough choices. Which give a competitive edge to everyone. It's a hockey sim, it needs tough management decision which is absent right now.
04. OTR is for show only.
It shouldn't have to count and should only served for comparison purpose based on current team strength versus the average team strength of the current division.
I have many more, I'll write later.

I approve. However in Europe players play for the junior team at 15 and if they are good the top club hence why kids from MoDo get drafted to the NHL etc. It would be nice to have a junior club or a farm club. Two way contracts but lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
OTR can still be the determining factor for sponsorships. The idea behind sponsorships and attendnace are the same: people want to see your team.
The calculation of OTR has to change in two significant ways:
1. There isn't a difference between beating a noname and the Stoney Creek Saints. That is preposterous. OTR increases (and decreases) should occur relative to the OTR of your opponent.
It would also be good if it took into account how competitive the game was to help out teams that are losing.
2. The seasonal decrease in OTR should reflect what division you are in. Promotion/relegation should have no impact on OTR other than determining what bracket you fall in for the purpose of calculating seasonal decreases.

I agree. I've been saying for a long time if OTR is going to drive finances, div1 should get more OTR than div4. Reading these posts aren't helping since I just lost in the NC to a much weaker team (they've even played on high consistently lately). OH well. This game is more depressing than anything else lately.
Well it doesn't have to be those HQ 3D display that is present in all the PC managing games such as FIFA or FM.. but having something to look at you know? Oh well, it's just a wish so doesn't matter.
I agree with the cookie cutter teams and the fixed ratio of positions.. In my opinion, they should add new attributes and assign a player-role to every player such as playmaker, sniper, grinder, off-d, def-d, etc. Maybe that will create some diversity among player builds...

Which they tend to ignore.
Honestly, if I didn't buy PRO already, I wouldn't anymore.
Simple suggestions get ignored by the Devs. They don't care.

First thing is for the losers. If you ain't tough enough to promote please be patient. Alot of guys up here will start suffering soon and follow the top GMs advise on building your arena and developping your players.
For exemple: If you draft a 4 star player and dont have an advance training facility than sell that star player and keep building your trining facility. Also build training facility before youth academy.
NOW FOR THE REAL STUFF: I hve a dilemma where I am playing 3 onling hockey leagues and 2 basketball leagues and this is sucking alot of time in my life. I am definatly thinking of letting one of them go. It's tough.

Yes patience is key... We're strting to see people in I.1 that have NOT been active managers since season 1 (ie - me!). Stay the course and be smart and you'll make it
