Convincing 6-2 win for the Atomics on home ice!

Williston seemed to carry the play for the first 9 minutes, but couldn't get any shots on goal. Shots were 1-2 up to that point. Then the Atomics scored goals on consecutive shots and that seemed to sway the momentum. Big Red did score a 5-3 goal to get to 3-1, but couldn't get another one. That would have made things interesting.

One more win and I finally make up for the horrible finish to last season=)

Oh, and we play tomorrow. I keep forgetting that we can play games on consecutive days in the playoffs. I was going to change my line-up for an expected friendly then I saw who I was playing. That would have been bad

What a barn burner in the third place placement game. And now with this win and the loss to the Big Red I know you can't play 3 lines on Normal against opponents on high. They get too exhausted at the end of the game and give up a ton of late goals.

I'm giving Wolf the start this game. If he can't goalie me to a 3rd game then I'll still have a chance to move up in the Promotion round.

8-3? Wow. That's a lot of goals. I went with Defensive hoping to play a tough road game and win 3-1 or 4-2. Something like that. That'll be an interesting summary. You must have gone with Offensive?

Next season should be different. I've finished in 4th, 1st & 1st down here. I'll be fighting for survival in II.1. Should be scary fun.

Hmm, you went with Counter Attacks. That's surprising. I'm thinking your players must be tired? My starters have 94-96 energy. I think I only played 5 competitive games on Normal, the rest were all on Low.

Yeah my guys were tired, I normally play all of my games on normal unless they're friendlies then I play them on low

That buying spree of yours is whacked. How did you know that was going to happen. Is that how you built up your team so fast. This is soooo broken.

No. I never knew that happened before yesterday. It's the first time I did it and I hated it. That needs to go away immediately. It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I only did it just in case I wouldn't feel like a cheating sack of shit. And I didn't want to regret not doing it. But I do feel like a cheating sack of shit. And I do regret doing it.

Thankfully I didn't get any good players. I'll probably end up firing a bunch of them and sell just enough to cover costs. I was going to fire them tonight (one 296OR is gone), but then I thought about the salaries and breaking even. Some of the salaries are very high, so I'll have to figure out how many I need to keep to sell and fire the rest. I just don't feel like thinking about this anymore right now.

I assume this has been happening every season. That's a game killer for me. It needs to go away asap or I'm going to have to quit.

Three more have been fired. Then I almost fired someone I bought legitimately a few days ago. I'm going to bed.

Yeah, at first glance when I saw your transactions posted on I.1 I was devastated, because I assumed you had built your team legitimately and I looked up to you.

Then I wondered if you had done it before (because I remember seeing you so stacked against the rest of the league when I first started). So I looked in your transaction history and was very happy to see that this was the first time for you.

Thanks for being honest, and you've gained back my respect with your replies (not that you need mine), but I'm glad to see your reaction and plan of remedy.

Its just unfortunate that some others will be using this flaw for extreme financial gain (some players were high 200s and 300s).

I really hope they address this issue and not ignore it.
