Well the season is coming to a close. The first place spot is still up for grabs with [hockey_team=26122] and [hockey_team=26968] in the running for the title. Who will take it this year? Hard to say. Ravens are the favourites as the winner of the last 2 seasons. Their dominance in Irish league I.1 has been on going since the league's inception. They were also the best Irish team back in the Other World I.1. Slovak Republic have been up and coming over the last 2 seasons and the main pretenders to the throne since the folding up of the [hockey_team=26976]. Who will come out on top?

Hopefully me!
But there has been a few shocks this year, the biggest I seen in the league was Dublin Gladiators beating Slovak Rep away!!!

I don't think there'll be a big change with the last 5 or so games left.
The playoffs will be tighter however, hard to predict with some very good teams in there

I think this year will be Senisters Junkys winner,we will see.this is me favorite!!his end of the season is great

It would be nice to see Senister get in there too but with 5 games to go and Ravens needing to drop 5 point against teams from position 9 down. I cant see it happening.

For the playoffs well thats gonna be tougher of course. Will comment after the league is settled. Hopefully I'll still be in there!

I don't know about that. Senister just lost to me with home advantage. They did annihilate me on the shots and everything else but still beat them. Shocked!

Yes....finally qualified for the playoffs. I'll be getting one of you two in the first round. Don't think I'll be giving an upset this year by knocking out one of the favourites.

2 Forwards in the top 10 scores on points and goals.....nice......and 1 defence man in the top 10 D-scorers for the end of the league....not bad....not bad at all.

Well, it's the end of an era for some Ravens players.
No less than 9 Ravens Legends have all been placed on the Transfer List with the idea of promoting younger, hungrier players to the side.

I've no doubt my team are gonna be massively weakened for next season, but it's a gamble that needs to taken to ensure the clubs future success.

Next season, I do not anticipate things going the Ravens way. But I need to start planning for the future NOW!

Off to a great start..... 5-1 win over Slovak Republic on day 1....long may it continue......Sorry TommyZ...wouldn't have expected that
