So tired of the results in this game, upsets happen way way way too often. Said it fifty times energy usage and team strength don't matter like they should, home field advantage is ridiculous. But it will never change, and is why I'll never pay to play.
Oof. That's hard to swallow for sure. He always has those types of games against me too. I lost 1-0 to him on the road earlier this season.

So match importance, tactics, and experience have nothing to do with it? Having played lots and lots of instant challenges, I have learned you need to cover ALL the bases. Upsets happen less often when you don't underestimate your opponent. There is no such thing as a "right to win". Play like there is no doubt you want to win!! Seems to work for me.
Been here a while too kid... Lol go look at my result and tell me I underestimated my opponent, and do explain what base I missed running for home? Was it my bat flip maybe?

So then you don't feel that result was crap? What is the point of spending years building a team when the game engine evens out the field between teams just because the talent pool here is so weak. An inactive team should never and I repeat Neeeeevvvvveeeer draw against a team built like OAP. Wellington is much better so they don't fit into that category but my result was still quite unreal, as was yours.
One or two of those per year should happen. But they should happen to EVERYONE. That's the problem. You're having especially tough luck. It wouldn't be so bad if all teams drop pts to weaker teams but it doesn't happen.
You are the second most rested team in the league at this point in time. If you choose to play at lower levels against weaker teams that play on H or VH there is a greater chance you will lose to them. (See your game one this season.) You can't "save yourself for later" and not expect upsets. Some of us out here are scratching and scheming for every point to meet our objectives. Mine is to avoid the relegation round completely. It has cost me large amounts of energy. I will probably lose the relegation round if I end up playing it. Impact de Montreal, the most rested team appears to be "saving himself for later" for reasons known only to him. In soccer there is no reason to "save yourself for later" as there are no playoffs. DO NOT understimate a determined underdog!! He WILL "bite you in the ass"! No hard feelings, but I have worked for every point I have this season and spent no time at all looking underneath the Christmas tree. The most dangerous team is the one that just recently became inactive! I shoild stop now before I outpace my heart meds.

First of all Scott thanks, second, the first game of the season was an computer edited line up with five players playing out of position. Third, most of my energy saving come because I dont play Very High on every game like a few teams seem to do. Impact (Creaminal ) doesn't seem to take the game very seriously and shouldn't have a single point but somehow he has five. IMO and with respect to Corvids and Filioni, the bottom four should not even be a bump to the top six to eight teams no matter how much energy and tactics used. We have a weak league, in most leagues with a fair amount of competition I wouldn't have a tier one team, let alone a team with 100 for team strength.
Now with your logic of me underestimating my opponent refer to the last game. If I'm the second most rested team and I had him in tactics, had him in player ratings and I did use almost max energy. They also received a red card early on, and I still managed to lose. This leads me back to my original point... No matter how good your building and anticipating your opponents, the home field advantage is unbelievably high. As for playoffs in Soccer there kinda is the league cup and your relegation games, may not be like hockey but it still means something and having energy for those shouldn't hurt.
Make sure you realize this is no criticism towards any individual manager, this is all about the game engine itself ( which will never change). I hope your able to stay up and not get relegated down, not because I care if you win or lose but the fact you add one good gm to our dwindling pool of top tier managers.

Hey guys, I deserve the crown of the most upset team. Check my track record and don't pretend to take it from me!

The closer you are to first place, the more upsetting the upset. Nearer the bottom where I live, most of my wins are upsets......very satisfying !! I look forward to the day when I can move up in the standings and find upsets more upsetting.
I think these damn meds are working!!
