saint2e in hockey is 2nd last and already got up to his OTR from the end of the season before. He'll relegate and have more OTR than when he promoted. I'd say it's a good deal for him and those who did promote esp. if they can stick.

Well you were highest OTR that was promoted. Your OTR is higher than the current #1 OTR. Thus you will be top OTR. No need to check haha.

Promoted teams are 1, 2, 4, 8 and 9 in I.1 ranking. No offense to anyone, but it sounds weird to me! And it won't help teams that were ranked 5-15 the season before...

Oh shit I forgot about Rickles. It is updated for each "league" but not country. I only looked at country
In II.2 I'm only 5th in OTR... The 4 top teams are promoted, and 6 are in the top 10. Aowyr is only 11th.

Wow. I'm now 42 OTR behind first place OTR in the nation. This system is really flawed. I should just keep relegating and promoting. That's the plan in hockey. There is no point in being a year-after-year middle-of-the-pack team under the current system. -Shakes Head and gets discouraged just like in hockey.-
Hoping they won't make other changes all the time. I need to promote this season and get the 15% OTR bonus 
Hopefully I don't slide down to the 70+ in terms of OTR like in hockey. I had the top-30 OTS team in Canada (likely higher don't recall, I have my guys in camp) and have teams with less than half my OTS with higher OTR.
I started on III and I can tell you that fighting for direct promotion (specially on II.02) was more difficult than finish on the the first 8 positions on the I.
Are you saying div2 is tougher than div1? Perhaps you didn't have your freakishly good star-studded lineup in div2 
If you go to II.3 or II.4, there are fewer good teams. But II.1 is far from being an easy league. Ask to Drillers or Ottawa Magicians... II.2 is somewhere in between.
