As a diehard philly fan I agree with some of the previous statements. There are some nut jobs out there that make me ashamed to be a philly fan sometimes. Problem is, they are the only ones you ever hear about because its what makes the news. With that said, we are without a doubt the greatest fans in all of sports. Love us or hate us we are ALWAYS still there supporting our teams. Which is more than I can say for alot of the teams you guys rout for. We love being hated so calling us names does nothing but make us more proud. I really don't understand it when NY and NJ fans talk sh!t because they are just as bad as us if not worse sometimes. Pit and Chi fans didn't even know they had hockeys team til about 5 years ago. They couldn't give tickets away, literally. Now they have great teams, and they are great, they think they are the greatest fans in the world. And teams like Carolina are a joke because I currently live there and there are only about 10 people in the whole state that know what a hockey puck is. Oh, and we didn't just boo santa claus. We threw snow balls at him too. lol Even though they lost I am still extremely proud of my flyers and what they accomplished. The Hawks were the better team and definitely deserved to win the Cup. Congrats to them and their TRUE fans. Good luck keeping that team together next year though. Sorry for the novel, just needed to vent.

heh heh. been watching the Hawks since freshman year in college - '92. They were pretty damn good that year but pretty damn bad in about 90% of the year since...

some good games coming up before the playoffs. With only about 1 game between 6 to 12 these should get some fan attention and will probably determine most of the playoff positions for round one...

today - RED WINGS vs. Mountain Yetis and the Hellraisers vs High Hitterz
Monday Hitterz go against the Rage and Wednesday we finish off with the Foxes vs the Hitterz and Wings vs Vowels

The interesting thing is that really none of the teams in that group really have more than 1 easy game left. The Wings and Vowelrifics probably have the easiest schedule left, while things look very tough for the Rage, the WarMachine and the Hitterz.

Wings play Yetis, Bulldogs and Vowelrifics
Yetis play Wings, Capitol Hill and Psychos
High Hitterz play Hellraisers, Americans and Foxes
Vowelrifics play Oranges, Saints and Wings
Hellraisers play Hitterz, Rage and Best77
Rage plays Force, Hellraisers and Americans
WarMachine plays Americans, Foxes and Sea-Sides

If all the games left go chalk by OTR we end up with wings in 6, Yetis in 7 and hitterz and vowels tied for 8th and the hellraisers just missing by 2 pts.

My special teams are comically bad. I don't know what happened, but at some point in the season they just fell apart. I stink on the pk, and flat-out can not score on the pp anymore. Also, I let up shg's like crazy now... no clue what I'm doing wrong. I didn't change anything. Crazy.

Sounds like my team, I had a great first half, second half started and I had a star injured every other game and my goalies forgot how to play.

My PP can never score when it was on pure fire and my PK just leaks in goals endlessly vs much weaker teams.

Good job tactizing me Foxes. Was afraid that'd be the case. I'm glad I was somehow able to play so well even strength... I'm, surprised I still out shot you while getting tactized. GG though.

Foxes are now in the dance sealing up a spot while no one was knocked out this game.
right now I'd say the Wings end up in 6th and 7th and 8th are pretty much up for grabs between the Yetis, Hellraisers, Vowels, Rage and Hitterz. My current prediction is Yetis and Raisers with each of them (and the Vowels) going 1-1 in the last 2 games and the Hitterz and WarMachine going 0-2.
