Boy, what a difference a day makes... Wednesday my goalie makes 31 out of 31 saves... today allows 5 goals on the first 5 shots. Rough.

My goal had only an OK day yesterday and now ive allowed 5 goals on 15 shots. 10 points better then my oppenent. I really hate this game some days. I just dont get why some of this crap happens.

Yes I know upsets happen bad goalie day...etc etc. But lets face it no one really know why & what the "F" goes on with thie match engine.

I guess I wont be buying a damn propack for soccer now. End Rant!

Its ok, I played the right tactic and still lost. I am 5 points overall better and 18 points better in goaltending and still lost 6-4. This game does nothing but pi$$ me off sometimes. So much for my dream of making the playoffs yet again.

Sorry dude, but my team is not as bad as some think. Offensively my Saints are pretty good. It's the defense and goaltending that we're struggling with over here. In addition, the average energy for my team is still 97 so that could have been a factor. Nevertheless, I'm glad I got the 3 points, even after playing against the correct countertactic (everyone has done that this season against me. )

That tactic on the road doesn't guarantee victory by any means, especially against a good offensive club. His 2nd and 4th lines were better, your 3rd was better and top lines were a basic wash.
Put you at home with the same tactics, and you win, but his players play well with normal.

In addition, my team is better than Flyer's in Shooting.

yeah but that like saying all you need is a high shot to have a better chance at winning. Defense Offense and Goalie is worthless.

Besides your shot vs Goalie is smaller diiference to his. Your 31 shot to his 51 goal (-20) while he has a 27 shot to your 33 goal (-6). Shot ability looks to be more in his favor then yours.

Now if you say that my statement has no merit then your telling me is if I start training all my playes only in shot that I then a stand a chance to start killing leggman & buckley 6-4. And that he would have to rationalize it as man his shot is better so I not going to win. I seriouly doubt that.

actually, for awhile in beta that was the case. you could get away with training only shooting and have a good chance to win.

Now leggy you shouldn't have told me that. Now all my players are training in that so I'll be ready for you in a week & half...oops nevermind just checked and your already at 39 to my meager 29. But maybe with Chen's 99Q in shot he can be high enough to beat buckley a few times.

I never said you didn't have a good team. You wouldn't be in league 1 unless you had a good team. I agree with you that you team is definitely better than mine in shot but according to star rating that is the only thing you are better than me in. I have played only one game all year on normal so all my starters are 97% energy or better as well. All that with the fact that I played the right tactic, is just confusing. And I don't necessarily aggree with SocC about being home made the difference because we have all lost games at home that we shouldn't have.
