Seems like our community is shrinking.
Also lost opivy aka Toledo Celtic. He last logged on 11/10 which means he deactivated his account. That's the most significant manager loss to me personally as I started competing against him in season one in Division III.6
I just waited for my team to go, just not into it and cost me too much money. I'll still chat on the forums. On the bright side there is a new hockey sim coming out from the guys who made OOTP. Looks good so far and I'm very excited.
It does seem to be shrinking, or at least shrinking from players that I remember for the early years.
I agree with the second part. It's the older teams who are dying off. We have a lot more depth now. When I promoted out of II.1 the first time, there was only a handful of good teams with 80+OTS. I remember the Samuri Goldfish being unstoppable with 125OTS Now most teams are much better than 80. Those are the teams who will really enjoy the game when all the old timers move on.
