It's not against the rules.

You always have to be aware of that, and make sure you scout your wanted player before buying it. Its not against the rules, plus, he/she can state it was just a mistake, even tho it was on purpose.

Well I guess you will have to ban me then:
"It is forbidden to make player or staff member deals for excessive prices for any reasons"
because there is absolutely no way he's worth the money I paid for him with the qualities he actually has.

Ridiculous. If you remove a rule you should make a big announcement about it to make it clear. I was counting on that rule still existing while making the offer.

I don't think my issue is resolved yet.

This transfer was normal. Nothing suspicious and the player was not overpayed. I do not see any opinion to ban or compensate this transfer.
Sorry for saying it hard, butt it is your faulth when you buy players you do not have scouted.

Excessive price is like 200M for that player. For that there would have been bans or compensations. 27.3M for a player is not excessive, they can go for much more (yes, there are crazy bidders out there).

Have you ever tried to buy used car in real life? 100% sellers lie about technical condition of a car to a stranger, you just need to check it. No one can force you to buy that car. Point is scouting of player you really want is a must. Otherwise impose limits on yourself and assume that AvQ of player is by 10 points lower than it is shown to you without scouting. Helps a lot.

So I could sell the player on and claim he has the qualities the other player told me, or even better, without any consequences? That's stupid, but really the only choice I see here.

Generally speaking, if the seller shares the info on the chat page it´s less likely for him to be lying, since anyone who scouted the player could tell; on the other hand, the potential buyers would not be able to profit from information advantage

Man, you can scout a player in 1-2days! Don't buy in final minutes. It's the same as ask for CL drop! Sameone lies - someone don't!
