A 4-3 S/O loss gives us the one point we needed to advance. Tomorrow's game against Slovakia is for position.
A 6-1 pummeling at the hands of #1 Slovakia and we are into the qualifying round!! We need to make the final playoff eight!!
A huge win today, 2-1 over Sweden, moves us into third place in our division, behind powerhouses Slovakia and Czechoslovakia !!! This was a must win game in our quest to make the final eight, as they were ahead of us to start the qualifying round!!
Our 6-2 loss to powerhouse Czechoslovakia means we need a win today over Romania to move on. A win today would move us in the standings past the loser of the Finland-Sweden game and into the final eight!!

I think maybe it's an age thing!!!! Question? Is a person from the Czech Republic referred to as a Czech, a Czechoslovakian, a Czech Republican, or a Czech Democrat ? Or maybe just European??
A 7-4 win over Romania today puts us in the final eight playoff. There will be no easy games now, and all are must win!! First game against France to make it into the final four!!
A 4-0 loss to France today, coupled with the scores from other games today, will probably mean we finish 8th in the world again this season. This is a more than decent finish considering the strength of teams at the top! We shall begin work immediately on next season's team! Keep up the great work training, and with what we have learned this season, we shall be in the mix at the end again next season !!

A 2-1 S/O victory over Hungary today puts into the final playoff eight!! We must beat Slovakia tomorrow to get into the semi-finals!!!
A 5-1 loss to world number one ranked Slovakia ends our run this season. Two seasons in a row we have faced the top ranked team in our first playoff game. Almost seems unfair!! We need just one or two more standings points going into the playoffs to avoid meeting the big guns first round!! Thanks to all for your training efforts!!
