Well, we ran out of time. We are pretty sure that we got the 16 year old's wrong but with limited info and even more limited scouting resources we had to just go with what we had. Next season's GM can fix this part of the team. We have chosen -

I just got this player from academy. He was 5 star in winger. I'm scouting him and I'll probably sell him if a team with a good training center wants him. How much could he be worth?

If this was day 5, lots. Day 95, much less.

Huh? Only played three lines against the Czech's but we set it for four!? 4th line had a day to day injured guy...is this why/does anyone know why we only played with 3 lines?

Well, our butt-ugly 2-4 record just goes to show that you don't need to be glamorous to win honourable mentions at the beauty pageant. Our dirty, ugly, "scratching around the corners" style of play puts us right down there on par with the Gretzky-led Kings teams...hoping this odd journey of ugliness can last at least one more day.

We kept our cards up pretty high but the line up card is in for tonight and we won't change anything so...Clit and I talked before the Croatia game last night and agreed that the Czech behemoth was too big. We were both pretty horny on holding back a bit for a final but it just looked too big. Sure enough they crushed Hungary as it was. So we put all in last night and, thanks to Carlson, we are guaranteed a silver and we are very satisfied with that. Looking ahead, Canada's juniors suck up front, especially on the wing. There is just very little offence. There was defence up the bum which really helped compensate for that. Too bad Carlson got sold to such a ^#&$ty team though. My thanks to John Clit for being a great ear and to the other GM's who gambled HUGE on an abusive, irresponsible &#*@head like myself. We got lucky but that silver medal is sure gonna look good hanging up in our club's trophy cabinet! I respectfully bow out of next season's voting to focus on the huge job of avoiding relegation in Division II...
