Ya my initial thoughts too. But he's due for a raise. A BIG raise :S
But think about how much money you'd bank and how soon you could upgrade your facilities with that cash.
Staff is way too expensive. I find myself selling off some key staff because of their price tags.

Well... level 14 training costs 91M and canucks can save 11,2M per season if he doesn't pay the extra 100k. So it "only" takes 8-9 seasons until he has saved enough to buy the next level.
lvl 14 training also costs and extra $70k a day and probably doesnt give you an extra 10% training so is it worth it?
How about tracking opposing team's history against you?
I like to know how my team has played against other teams throughout the season or year (without having to go back through my calender). This could be in the team analysis.
I'd also think it would be cool if you could have a "rivalry" section that lists how often you've played teams and the results (maybe just top 10 or top 20). It should include that league, playoffs and tournaments (cup tournaments, not credit).
I'd love to know who I've played the most and who my biggest rival is.

I love "The Rival" part the best... Place it in the team profile page under the heading: Natural Rival.
It could simply be based on league positions at the end of recent seasons.
Or with more criteria such as location, OTR, NT players, etc, etc..
You "Natural Rival" could also change over the course of seasons depending on other teams coming through.
This would be a welcome addition me thinks, adding extra spice to future games.

i thinks that when a player reaches deadline to be removed automatically from market topic.
we already got over 400 pages.
we already got over 400 pages.
All they need to do is just manually remove the first 390 pages and then do a cull every few weeks.
I've long been an advocate of a cap system. Where no team gets 20-25% more than another in the league. Use league average OTR again as a base then say new arrivals get $X and league champion gets $X + 25% all based on the league OTR. That way they are still getting rewarded for winning, and also not running away with anything. This would also remove people from dropping down to improve their OTR for a better sponsor deal as lower leagues would have worse average OTR and thus worse sponsor deals.
Thoughts on this?
For example say I.1 had a base sponsor offer of 15M. Then first would get say 17.25M while new arrivals would get 13.5M.

This would remove cases where one team makes way more than the rest like USA I.1 where the top club makes more in 3 weeks than teams do all season.
Look like someone has been reading the USA sponsorship money thread.

HF Boards haha. But ya it's no surprise he's making 50M/week.
What about HR dept and Marketing staff in this system?
I think the system is fine as is, with exception of influence of league standings. Imo it's too big. Better teams have already better OTR because of winning, so rewarding better league standings in contracts doesn't have to be so high. This would then also help to eliminate OTR tanking with 2nd place and not promoting.
For example we have two OTR,HR, Marketing etc. equal teams, one (A) in 1st and the other (B) in 2nd league. If team B finishes 2nd and doesn't promote, it's contract should be smaller than team A's finishing at 16th place and not relegate. Now it's contract is as high as team A's for somewhere at 6th to 8th place.
