Not true. Saint2e signed up in season 1 (hence got his team in season 1) but didn't do anything until season 2 which is when he started upgrading facilities and all that good stuff. The longer the game goes on, the less the gap will be between the bottom-10 div1 teams and the div2 teams. However, the longer the game goes on the more the spread in the top-5 div1 teams and the bottom-10 div1 teams.

As I said 113 days so over a season now but I guess they were longer then, my only point is if it took Saint2e around 650 to700 days to make up people that had a head start of 113 to 120 days and thats the best, what are the chances of someone starting 800 days behind, 1500 days?

Top teams will have a peak. We haven't even seen the effects of free agency and player retirement. These two features alone create the possibility of top teams regressing.

I don't think that's going to have much, if any, effect for some time.

The huge advantage that the top teams have is in their arenas and facilities. They make enough money to buy incredible prospects to train with their perfect facilities.

I think what we'll see are very young top teams and older second tier teams that are saving money to catch up in infrastructure.

You have to remember like ubelievable name said, there is a peak for the top clubs. I for one, despite having an increase in sponsor offer, am only making 4M/week from my sponsor donations. I have lvl 13s build and the next upgrade costs me 90M. Taking that into account it'll take around 2 seasons to save that kind of cash at which point salaries will rise and I'll make even less per week.

The money crunch is here. As we spend more cash on facilities and especially our rink, our expenses skyrocket. The new challenge for top teams in PPM is balancing the budget. Unless you're a powerhouse who wins 90% of the time, there are going to be some hard decisions that lie ahead... all of which gives the advantage to the newer teams who can close the gap facility wise AND will have younger players.

Oh come on, it always takes people time to catch up. You ever play a RPG and complain because the people playing for a year are a higher level?

BTW just to clarify I didn't suggest bonus experience because players should be more experienced. I suggested it to off-set the training penalty.
The training penalty would be a handicap for high league teams as well. 1.00 training - 10% is a difference of .10 points. Compared to a lower team which recieves for example 0.50 - 10% difference of .05 points. (This would shorten the gap)
The experience bonus would have to make it worth the penalty of 10% training (or whatever percentages were used) as improved player performance.

That is true. Higher leagues train the same as lower leagues which have the exact same facilities and staff.

kk I thought of another way of explaining it (it is complicated)
Now for simplicity sake each game in the lower league (something like juniors) earns 4 EXP compared to 2 EXP in the regular league (for under 19 yo players)
-First Value is better team
-Top Ratio is Reg league
Ratio: 2.00 : 1.00 training per day 2 EXP
Ratio: 1.80 : 0.90 with 10% penalty 4 EXP

Times 10 days

Ratio 20.00 : 10.00 Training gained 20 EXP
Ratio 18.00 : 9.00 Training gained 40 EXP

Ohhh I meant higher league teams as more advanced teams (better training facilities).
