really enjoying watching Lupul succeed after Randy Carlyle told him he "doesn't have what it takes to succeed as a winger in the NHL". Especially because he's in my pool ;P
I love Lupul, Lupul is actually my nickname around my hockey friends cause my first name is Jeff and they thought I looked and played like him, so the name stuck.
Anyways, I've always hated the leafs with a passion, but with them having Lupul, Lombardi, Colborne, and Phaneuf on the team, it's making me even more frustrated because I like all those players, but they are on the stinkin' leafs!!

As much as it pains me to admit it, the Leafs franchise deserves a much better fate than its had in recent years. We may not like them, but they should be a perrennial playoff team. All the Canadian teams deserve at least playoffs. I think the leafs have been so brutal, and played themselves into such an underdog role, that a part of me is happy for them this year (Albeit a very tiny part of me).
Are they doing the same as last year in the all-star game? Captains picking the teams? 'cause it would be hilarious if Kessel picked Ovie last.

Strongly agree... I NEVER liked the Phaneuf trade, even though at the time everyone was liking it just because we got one good d-man and other forwards.

anyways, it was probably the worst decision the GM ever made. Gave up another solid d-prospect in Aulie. Not to mention losing Lombardi, who was one of my fav players because of his incredible speed... the Flames need a change. Possibly start by firing everyone in the organization named Sutter.
