Going back to the PP thing. I re-defined my lines based on offense, passing, shooting and tech, and I've now shot up to 35.1% on the PP (20 for 57)!
U've said 'offense, passing, shooting and tech' ...U've redefined PP lines based on this order of attributes ?
Well, it's hardly a science, since I play in League III and only have 3 games on record since then. But it increased from 14% to 35%. I placed the centers based on offense-passing-tech, wingers based on shooting-offense-tech, and defensemen based on tech-passing-shooting. However, we'll have to wait the course of the season to see. Also, there are about 6 or 7 noname teams in my league.
You guys won't really know whether your PP lines are good until you play in a competitive league. Noname teams and teams with managers that don't play this game well skew the numbers a lot and you might think that what you do is right. I used to have a PP success rate of 30% last season. After being promoted to a more competitive Slovak II.2 (the weakest team OR is 33), my numbers fell to 9.1%. I am looking for a new pattern now.
Regardless of the level, the important thing is learning things to tweak with your team, and having fun doing so
So keep it up, play around with your lineup and find what works best with you, regardless of the level of competition.

I not that good involved in real icehockey. In real icehockey what task is there for the center? Is he teh one in front of goal to score with str and or more a playmaker passing rather then shooting ? and what more you can tell, like what C in PP /PK lines
That would depend on what power play tactic you are using. Does anybody know what tactic this game uses?
It depends on the player really. Realistically, the Center is the leader on offense, they help set up the play in the offensive zone, but also come back deeper to help on Defense. Are you more familiar with Soccer? If so, think of a Center as more of a midfielder, the wingers as strikers if that helps?
True, but you can't get behind a goal in Soccer ;P I'm just thinking of their activity both on offense and defense really.
I was browsing information, and noticed that a result between two real teams was 49-0! Turns out, the dude's goalie is an OR 85, with most of his players under 120, including several purchased foreign players under that mark. Also, all his money is into the sports academy and economic department, he seems to be a somewhat active manager, and he is selling his best player by far (OR 200). My question is: to what possible advantage is his strategy? Is he simply being stupid, is there an advantage, or could this somehow be reflecting a weird kind of cheating? Just curious.
making the worst team he can I guess.
I have a friendly next month vs. the team who has 9 of the 10 worst losses in PPM. should be an interesting one...

I just got done readind the whole thread and wondered if your scouts affected your youth pull kinda like propect scouts.
Also I IDk what my stats are but putting 3 defencemen on pk seems to be helping me.
