No one is 100% certain how PPM is doing it, however it is stated in the inline guide that seriously out of balanced ratios do not perform as well as you would think.

NOPE i tried that by putting an H for the hockey and an S for the soccer and still no go.

ziggy when you ssave your lineup page(2-4) for the tool, open it up on your pc, does it show the 2-4 page or the default lineup page?

One file is the Roster which is 2-4 page. the other is the practice file. Which is the same for soccer so you can only look at one sport at a time.

HELP!!! I'm new to the game, playing hockey and I didn't realize that player and staff salaries are paid in full daily!! I thought what their Salary was was divided into equal payments throughout the year and the salary was their season salary. I went out and purchased 5 high priced stafff members on the market and have a weekly expense ratio of 3,500,000 now. I have invested alot of time and money into this team and don't want to lose it because I thought a Salary was paid over the coarse of a season not a day. The game won't let me put the staff on the market now. What should I do??? please somebody e-mail me with some advice.

get a loan, sell some players/staff, demolish facilities ?

You can still dismiss them. I know it seems like a waste, but you'll be off the hook for at least half their salary.

Not saying you didn't read the guide, but I would re-read it anytime you are about to do something new. It's just way too much info to absorb in one read. I, myself have probably read parts of it over a score of times.

Also a pain, ('til they make it searchable) but the Q&A forum has LOADS of info from the users perspective and experience. It's A LOT to read through, but one or two useful gems of info could make it worthwhile. [i.e.:the BIG FOUR(or 5) facilities to concentrate on, training ratios, etc.]

ALSO, I think you'll find that almost anyone you see posting on here regularly (that's not complaining all the time) would be more than happy to answer ANY questions you may have. Shevzor, Yzerman, opivy, eeoulo (everyone's fave avatar), phareux, trueblue55 are some that I have garnered much info from (if not directly, from reading their posts). I would even be more than happy in case you have any questions.
