its isn`t much .. because i don`t like if someone every season change their team names and usernames
But changing username is possible just once. So, I think, they could reduce the costs for this.
That's my argument also. As it's a once only thing, the cost could be pretty small. Even free actually.
Could the developers of PPM do something to reduce the prices of main attribute monsters?
It's ridiculous that a player who has 100-25-25 costs over 10 millions and player with 70-40-40 costs 3 millions eventhough the first guy is much worse on ice. And then some experienced managers train only the main attribute for tens of players per season. They earn hundreds of thousands just because the unexperienced managers don't know the players are actually very poor.
I'd suggest that every player on market has rating that shows how good the player really is. Something like the pucks in game summary...

I have to agree with nsblues it would be important to not give away one of the best secrets of the game, the ideal training levels. From what I can see on the market it's harder and harder to sell those "main attribute monsters" as you call them. There still are plenty of people that are willing to pay the big bucks for them so the market will determine the prices. In time I feel the market will correct itself to have the better players worth more as the experienced managers will be the only ones who can afford what is a high price.
I would like to see the market penalty raised for "excessive" sales. I think at some point it should be near 100% penalty. I think somewhere in the range of 40 players in the last 112 days would be a reasonable cutoff point where there no longer is any money generated by a sale. I also think there should be a reverse charge as well. So after you buy the 10th player in 112 days you start to pay an increased penalty amount. There's nothing wrong with people buying and training players for resale. in fact it's a good thing for the team, the market, and potentially the buyers. I think it's just out of hand for some teams tho.

Sorry, come again? I was distracted by your picture :O
I agree that the Devs NEED to do something about the assholes training and scamming the marketplace.
I don't think they should give away the secrets though... so who knows.
Maybe what they need to do is add a chat for players so those of us who knows what's good and/or bad can leave comments so other can read them.

I like that idea. Problem is, I started training some of those types of players :S. Please don't hate. Just a couple guys, I don't expect major cash for them but I gotta keep up with the cash flow of the other strong clubs.
Am I a bad person?

That chat feature is already in the game. Check out hockey.powerplaymanager.c... then look at menu on right side, and click "turn on chat" From what I see it doesn't do much tho since on some players people just lie. On most I doubt people even look at the chat....
canucks, sorry yes you are.. but not for that reason!! lol j/k I'm all for the buying, training, selling of players for profit. I just think at some point too much of it takes away from the game rather than adding to it.

Yes, a very bad person. Kidding
But you just showed a damn good point. In order for people like us to keep up with the chea... assho... scammers... (lol) we are going to have to resort to doing the same thing ourselves.
All that will do make the market a semi-useless resource.

Gotcha.
So, what they need to do is have the chat remain open at all times, so people actually DO see it.

I dont think it will make it a semi useless resource tho. Even if it stays as is with limited regulation it's still very valuable. You just have to sift through the crap players either way. This way you just have to sift through more single atty monsters as such. The biggest thing is if there are stronger market controls to control the number of players a person can own or resell it will help make quality affordable for the rest. It will also force people to think a bit harder on which players they do choose to train up for resale.

That is an excellent suggestion!

Indeed, and i have no issue sorting through the crap as i use strict filtering to find players.
But... newbies don't, and they end up buying shit players for a lot of money because they know no different.
and THAT really pisses me off.
