FINALLY! Took a shootout, and burned energy, but got a winner. Finally some green on my calendar.

After 5 games no one has a perfect record. This is going to be a fun season.

Looks like I may be back next season! lol. 1-4 up with the big boys, and getting outscored on a 4 to 1 ratio.

I think we're finally at the point in the game where there is a significant gap between the upper tier and lower tier inside of each league. This is due to the upper-tiered teams having their teams for so long (at least in part). I think this gap will only close for I.1 after enough seasons have passed to where: a) top teams players start to retire or wane, and b) other teams have fully-developed players, facilities, and youth. Once both of these things happen, the gaps will only be naturally-occurring (like with a new team vs.Irresistible Force, for example). How long that will take, I am not sure.

Even if their players retire, they could afford to buy even better player right away. Teams like Force get 50 millions per week from sponsors.

is 50mil a week accurate??? if so, holy shtt. the gap is pretty nuts already. i agree with reverist that it will close over time...but i'd be like 20 seasons...lol

I think it is accurate. There are some teams who, on occasion, can beat the Force in I.1. But in any case you guys are seeing it here in your league. I was in this league three seasons--and the first season I finished 4th place in both the playoffs and regular season. My point is that, probably, no newly promoted team will finish in the top 5 of this league this season. Why did I do it--because I'm so great? Not at all, it was just a closer playing field.

Like i've said before, and this is still my goal. I'd rather be 20th in I.1, then 1st in II.x The point of the game is to play with the best. I may lose facing them, but i'd rather lose to the force, then beat nonamex1234 (not that we have any this season)

20 seasons its almost 7 years. A lot of people will quit this game by that time, if nothing changes.
