Yeah, to reiterate what others have said, your line strengths are lower while your shooting ratings are higher because you're putting more of a player's OR points into shooting which means less into off, tech, etc. The optimum way to maximize line strength rating per attribute point has generally been figured out to be a 2-1-1, but the two main decisions a manager has to make based on their own testing/experience/guessing is how much shooting to train and how high to train tech on all players to reduce penalties.
I train both shoot and tech pretty high. I;ve created quite a few upsets so far in my teams history. We'll see next season as my team is about 11th in overall strength in the country.
For real: I expect for your team to be in I.1 next season

ziggy beat me down again for the 4th time this season wasnt meant to be think i had him till he popped it to very high for the 3rd and OT oh well. maybe when my Tf is 13 i do better next year
always a good matchup with you reverist.... i kind of hurt my self in the season early on dropping some points to some lesser teams a few times... and mix in a 2wk vacation, should never have been the 8th seed
We are very equal teams. It seems my Goalie has something on you he has played his best games of the year against you. Next season you will most likely kick my butt.

I was like woahhhh this is gonna be intense after that first game, but it was an awesome series
I do this as well (shooting to quality percentage of primary) but I round it down to nearest 10%, so a 93% would train 90% of primary.
