I guess every loss is bad in my mind, (i'm very competitive) My breakdown had more to do with how in this game i react to those losses.

point taken. but, think of it this way...if my team plays a stronger team and you lose by less margin than expected, I call that a good loss. I am NOT happy about losing, but I can handle that--and generally feel pretty good about it, too.

AAAGH! i lost 6-3 after leaving my back-up goalie as the starter!

tough schedule ahead. With 9 games left we play 6 teams in the top 8. we had a 4-5 record against these teams the last go around and will need at least that to assure we stay in the top 8

Magic numbers for playoff spots (these are points the team needs to gain or the #9 team needs to lose in order to secure a playoff spot.

1. West Co. Warriors 1
2. Backstreet Boys 8
3. Iowa Wild 12
4. BlueJackets 13
5. Manville CONDORS 13
6. NY Rangers 94 19
7. Mighty Sticks 20
8. Hilltoppers 23

West co. is almost assured of claiming a spot this week. Backstreet also has a very good chance as well. Iowa, BlueJackets and Manville have an outside shot. The most net points a team can gain in one week is 18 (# wins by them, 3 losses by the #9 team)

aww...come on...that's not fair! i can win all my games and take that last slot...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

of course you can but you can only calculate points needed to win for teams already there I could do a separate "who needs to win, who needs to lose" but thats a lot more work. The only teams currently eliminated from making the playoffs are the bottom 3 computer teams
