This just in...Buckley Exonerated!

Popular goalie Korey Buckley made his regularly scheduled start in the Irresistable Force's playoff game against the Psychos earlier today, somewhat to the surprise of some. A news story stating that Buckley had tested positive for a banned substance and had been barred from competitive play for 2 seasons was released earlier in the day by "Diamond Joe" Jojo, General Manager of the STL Saints.

When the story broke a few hours before gametime the Force were prohibitive favorites - and in Las Vegas in the sportsbooks the betting was very one-sided. The house stood to lose millions unless some money were to be bet on the Psychos...and after the Buckley story broke the odds swung around to nearly even just before the game.

"I can't publicly alledge anything, but we all know where that story came from, and we all know who he works with" retorted an angry looking Janos Varadi, Marketing Manager of the Force. "It's a crime that someone in our league is allowed to consort with organized crime. I look forward to our next matchup with the STL Stains and hope Buckley shuts 'em out" added Assistant Marketing Manager Les Edward.

Team GM Leggman was unavailable for comment but did release a short statement - "we have three wins so far this playoff season, and we have three to go. Other than that I have no comment"

100 days for the triple-floor multifunctional - about 1 full season. from the day I started it I'll have enough time to build it and the skyboxes with 1 day left over before the skybox offers come in at the start of NEXT season...

I'm backin' up the truck - got 13 players and 3 staff guys on the market as of now and will be adding another one on Monday. I might have to cancel my games during the week after the playoffs so I can run a camp...not enough bodies left...

It seems you're giving up on the 1 atty training market. I dont blame you one bit. It seems the player base has gotten more savy in what it wants to buy... somewhat anyway lol! I still have a couple such player to move off the roster one way or another soon. G'luck in the clearance sale!

main reason I posted it is I literally won't have enough people to play the week between the playoffs and the next season - after you take out the international guys and the camp guys no one will be left.

I've had that happen to me. I ended up picking up a few 10k price players fast to act as 4th line fill in a 3 line setup while the camp ran.

Oh boy, that makes me feel eve worse. I lost a critical game to the only team in the league without a manager. Must be some kind of record.

Actually, with it playing on normal, it's actually harder to beat that team than it was XIVAM. So no, you aren't a COMPLETE AND UTTER loser.

I'll have what I think will be the league's first skybox on April 24. I'm 3 weeks from a multifunctional (25th) and another month for the box.
