Well I have no use for my 21 year olds any more. So can I drop them and take the players I need from your team. I think I am losing 19 players due to age and have 2 extra slots that equal 21 spots. You have 25 players eligable for the U20 squad. I have them all scouted so it wont be too hard for me.

I add two of my young defenser but I need a center. Otherwise we won't be able to play 4 lines this weekend.

also if you want long term, he just dropped to 5/6, his EQ is over 90, and I intend to play him in league games for exp but not in friendlies.

I would like to close the first chapter of the U18 team before we move on the new season.

You elected my friend canucks357 and I. Our objective was clear since the beginning as follow:

"Our only objective for this first year is to find the future of the Canadian National Senior Team. We want to give to our young players chemistry and experience as soon as possible so they can perform in the U20 and Senior levels. We will select the most promising players and keep some positions available for prospects. "

Today I asked skipman6 , the current manager of U20 team, to tell me how many ^layers from the U18 he selected at the beginning of the season. Here is his answer:

"I have 23 of your players, with 9 going into the top 28 spots."

We decided to give full ice time to Jordan Lindsay . We have a 18 years old goalie with 100% chemistry. Our back-up is 17 with 33% chemistry (Ronnie Home ).

We also have Lee Moore and of course Leon Cyr ready.

So I think we succeed pretty well our objective.

For the WC we were in a very tough group. I was very confident after the first game. Very good result. We were not able to manage an other very good game before the relegation games.

It started well with the win against Serbia. Hope came back. But Belarus put us back on the reality train. I am still disappointed. We lost the game 40 sec before the end after leading the game for 60 min ...

Hopefully next season will be better. We will play in a league that is more competitive for us.

This tournament is always going to be our toughest tournament. It relies heavily on prospects grown from the Sports Academy, and let's face it, the European countries have us beat in sheer numbers.

Kudos to this past season's managers, and to those willing to step up and spend the time managing this year's team.

I would like to run for U18 or U20 sometime in the future, but between work, my part-time business, and other things I'm dedicated to, I have enough problems with managing my own PPM teams.
