Blame the responsible of your national players database, and then help out to fix it, or you'll probably get another guy with that silly surname sooner or later... 
That's what I mean, where can I tell them to change that? I think I actually got another one with the same lastname, but his quality was so low I fired him. This other guy is really good. Getting old and stuff, but still I trained him good.
I believe you cannot change the names of players already pulled. Best you can do is renew and correct names of the source file. We had some problems like that in Brazil and we recently changed the names file, including nature, places, scientists, writers and musicians last names and removing the mispelled ones. I am not sure how are Venezuelan names formed (from Chilean or Argentinean database), but you can request your community´s captain to review this file as soon as his staff gets some free time for the task.
fixed the names of existing players and also the database so there shouldn't be any new players like that.

done, although the middle name has gone with it unfortunately. I didn't know it was part of the surname.
Actually that "Alexandre" shouldn´t be part of the surname in the first place. Thanks!
