I'm actually worried. My energy is just too low because I tried to keep up with Opivy's Toledo this year. I'm worried a first round knockout is perhaps a very real possibility.
I shouldn't probably say this but I have some starters as low as 66. My Waldo Gould line is good because I saved his energy for the WC but the 2nd-4th line are just stupid low energy for hockey. That kinda explains why my top line guys don't dominate in points in my team either, even though they're better then the rest of the lines.
My top two lines are 83-87. Bottom two are all about 89-91.
My energy is 82-88 for my first three lines which i'm pretty happy about after playing a lot of games on normal.
I have one guy at 90, the rest are 91 or higher. Most are at 94.
damn 90 is nice!!! 66 is going to be painful come 2nd or 3rd round!!

So I've never been able to beat you and I'm going into this series with less energy, this'll be fun.
Yeah I promised myself that I'd do a better job of setting my team up for success in the playoffs. I'm a full 12 points behind 3rd. I could have wasted a lot of energy to try and make it to 3rd, but what good would that have really done me? I'd pick up a bit more cash at the end of the season, but my team would be crap in the playoffs.

It should be easier going forward though because I sold a few facilities in order to build a triple stand, so my guys aren't developing quite as well.
Ya fizban, you took the approach i would take if i had a chance to beat Opivy!! Since i stand no chane, i went for cash!! Still, i am happy being at 81+ lol. Redwings are tough, so i will consider it a victory if i can take him to 3 games!!

At the beginning of the season I honestly thought I'd finish in 8th with playing so many games on very low. I'm really surprised to be sitting in 4th.
Whomever has Opivy the first round will win the FIRST game for sure. He's got his main guys in camp for the next 5 days.
Actually, Toledo might lose both games. I think his guys come back from training the night AFTER game 2. That's some serious miscalculation if that's the case. His team is a playoff contender in 1.1 and with the changes he's going to waste his time here next year.
