I don't agree with this. How can we see the real skills of a manager if all players will have maximum energy before WCH ? With new game engine changes, we can't.
Will little countries (as number of users) have any chance against Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia or Slovakia?
If general manager has a good strategy, this difference of value between countries can be nullified.
Who thought that USA will relegate this season or who thought that Belgium will win Division I ? No one ! They had a good strategy during the season (congratz Creiferd)... and you can see the results !

I agree here, if changes like this are going to be made, can we get a time line of this season or when it will be implemented?
There have been some players we passed on due to energy, if it's going to be implemented this year whomever is elected would do well to add them to our team.

Still problem exists as big communities have more players to swap and combine. So, as they are stronger with number of quality players, they are stronger in energy deposits too.

Big players can be found at big teams, teams that are fighting for league title. for national cup, for international cups. This means a lot of wasted energy.
Now, as I said earlier, it's up to national team general manager. You want a weaker player from a team that can save some energy or you want a good player but with lower energy ? It's all about strategy here ...

I see your point anyway, and I feel that I lost relevant arguments to stand firm on my opinion.

we want to do it because we want to avoid situations where people have to save their NT players if they want their NT to succeed. If we implement a separate NT energy, we will also allow friendlies to be played on other than very low importance. We also want to think of a way to motivate NT managers to win friendlies. Don't think so ! Most managers think about their own good. For the moment the only way to save energy is by playing in lower leagues. In this way you can make OTR and you can save players' energy. This is the main issue we should think about (and I have some ideas about it).
NT friendlies ?! What reward can a NT get from a friendly ? Most NT general managers will prefer to play on low in order to save energy for WCH. WCH is top competition for countries, even if in Division I or Division II you don't have any reward for winning. It's all about the prestige you can get !

for example extra experience and chemistry for players if they win. that way you will have to think whether you want to save energy or build up chemistry and XP for the WCH
Wont that make everyone chose the weakest team they can get? And won't that make weaker teams avoid accepting friendlies against stronger opponents?
I would suggest being very carefull trying to fix something that is not broken. If you look at real life friendlies, what do you see there?

What I think is that it is getting competitive now. I think that if you change now it will lose competition again, and stronger countrys will get stronger again.
there are 2 sides to every coin. I was hearing several seasons how this should be implemented and now is the first time I hear any opposition. It's impossible to please everyone.
I'm just thinking aloud here. What if the XP and chemistry gain would depend on the strength or the ranking of the opponent?
