that's not true. every team has a need to save energy. It's just that the teams that play other tournaments have higher need to do this, but I've even seen second division team playing VL almost every game. And in fact, if you always play VL every game, then quite a few opponents will notice this and set their setting to VL as well to save energy against other teams....
Seems to me using Very low as much as possible is the way forward, atleast for the first half of the season since you end up winning games at the end purely due to having more energy. I was able to do that in my league probably only because my team is better than most in my league, but not sure how that works out as a team who isn't above the average strength in the league.
teams that don't play in cups have absolutely no reason to save energy?? one reason to save energy: league cup. that might be their only chance to get europe. it's not the only one as others allready wrote.
vlady asked you: which countries are doing this? if you want to say something be prepared to say it.

Mate, there is a difference between seeing that in statistics and seeing on forums. Vlady was asking if you saw countries where users agreed to play on very low importance. So, have you ?
Since I dont have time collecting stats I go with what I see (which can be wrong in a bigger picture) thats why I asked him to look this up in the internal database since that will be an easy way to see where this happens. Also I asked where to draw the line before my answer since that is obv important to what my answer will be
The number of Very Low's, L, N, etc can be seen in league stats.. so it's easy to check if there's any country where something suspicious is happening...
I checked for all top leagues and I didn't find anything suspicious..

I got a question/an idea @ vlady. (wondering,nobody else talks there about)
Some Leagues dont exist anymore, resp. there are just NoName Teams in. Whitch consequences will mean that for the risers and relegation opportunists on the leagues above?
For example Switzerland: last season there have been 4 second leagues and 16 third leagues. (this season 12 third leagues)
Each second league got the according third leagues as opportunists:
League II.1 the Leagues III.1 to III.4 and so on.
Number 15 of League II.1 went in Relegation with Number 2 of League III.1, Number 18 with Number 2 of League III.4 a.s.o.
this system means for the exampled Switzerland, that League II.4 only get NoName teams as risers and relegation opportunists, and for league II.3 it doesnt look much different. (okay, league III.9 ist strong, but III.10 ist a league with nearly only beginners)
It would be more just,if you sorts the teams in league III. new:
For example League III.13 new named III.1 ,League III.14 in III.5 a.s.o.
League III.8 in III.2 III.9 in III.6 aso
This would mean on the until now used system, that the Team on the 15th place of a second league will get a NoName Team as relegation opportunist, Nr. 16 little more heavy, Nr. 17 and 18 heavy.
Would give more fight for the middle places and it would be more justice,too...

we don't plan anything like that. However, if a league is locked, then nobody relegates into that league.
just an idea. In Switzerland means this system, that League II.4 will have no risers. and no relegation games, too.
The other 2 second leagues will have.
II.1 and II.2 with heavy opportunists.
This is a little unfair.

and: In League Swiss II.3 will that men,if nothing be changed: Dont finish on Place 15,because you will get an mean opportunist from League III.9.
Better finish at Place 22,than you will stay second league for sure.
This is a problem.

This is a problem.
no, it doesn't work that way. if there is less than 4 leagues under 1 league, then the pattern changes a bit.
for example if you only have leagues III.9, III.10 and III.11, then from II.3 teams in places 20-22 are relegated directly. Teams in places 17-19 play in the relegation round.

Ah,okay, solves it a little,too.
but still means that II.4 will have no relegations.
And that II.3 will have the problem that it will be better,to reach Place 19 than 17...or even 22 than 17...it just means,Place 17 get the double bad-luck-card: No league cup and! difficult relegation oppertunist.

Why? I really don't see your point with better being 22. than 17. At least you then have a chance in the relegation, while on 22. you have to go down anyway.
Or do you mean that III.11 could be (or is) much better than III.9? Because the 17. would play against III.11, right?
I think I really don't understand your problem.
Anyway, your 'mean opportunist from league III.9' made me laugh, have to remember that. No offense, really, but I think you mean opponent.

Yes,but Place 22 will get League III. will go down to League III.11 with has just beginners in it.
III.9 is difficult with 4 or then even more really strong Teams.
