Its not that difficult. Just have a watch on his reports,or,for example, look on mine of today against a NoNameTeam. 5 Goals in first half, only 2 in second. Why? There are reasons...
well if that is not random when goals are cored, than you just prove that long balls are way overpowered
IMO for playing long balls you should have players with excellent passing and tech, and your strikers should have excellent tech, head play and speed.
But at this moment ME does not take this into account.
When it will then we will not have matches where weaker team with long balls has more possesion than stronger team with short passing.
Also, with long ball playing style ME should take into account head play by defenders. As you can see in every day matches in such play, good defenders clear such situations pretty easy.
Just a thought.

to have more ball possession with long balls means better tackling and aggressions. "You have to win Zweikampf".
But for sure you play forward with long balls.

That´s what I´m saying... in the Sim,
Random Overcomes Logic.
Random Overcomes Logic.
you can find plenty of such examples in real life as well. how about all the matches that are won by teams with more shots? you don't talk about them. You just point to individual matches, but that's very easy to do. according to your logic, matches like this shouldn't be possible and that would be wrong.
Without the luck factor it wouldnt be a game anymore.
We dont play chess,we play soccer teams.
Thats my opinion, even if my Team got a bad luck day.
(like last sunday,for example)
People annoys themselfes rarely,if their Team was the one been lucky.
And at least, its roundabout 1 of 10 matches decided by the luck factor.
In real life its even more.
Otherwise there would be no need for Sport-bets Agencies.
You earn really good money,if you just give a bet for 6 games, and bet right on win, loose or draw.
Each week 6 of 9 games right, and there is no need anymore,to go to work.
Hit this one Time per month would even be good enough therefore.
But i never met someone, who earns his money just with sports betting. Me also dont. Unfortunatly...

RL is not comparsion to a simulation game. By the simple reason that it´s an excuse for all and every mistake. There is always a nice RL example to support any error.
Or maybe you are just putting too much emphasys on the random parts of soccer on your Sim?

We don´t play soccer teams. We (try to) play a football simulator.
And chess is not a simulation. It´s a game on itself.
You are losing the point along with these messy concepts.
You are losing the point along with these messy concepts.
1. I dont see real errors.
9 of 10 matches run just the way you expect.
2. I play soccer and! soccer simulator.
A good simulator comes close to RL. (at my opinion)
3. I took chess as an example.
Its the only "Game" without luck.
There is no need to call me a messy. With an i at the names-end (Messi) it wouldnt be correct, but nice.
If you mean,im losing the point, why dont you! put on soccer shoes and go out to play soccer.
Perhaps it would change your mind.

I will try to be clear as I can:
- For me - luck must be the factor in sport.
- How many points there is in game engine where luck factor is involved ? If there is 1 or 2 points - then that's pretty bad.
- We have mysterious game engine - for me - with big question about individual plays involved.
- My point from start of the game was - game engine must be more complex with as much actions as it could be. Action consist of few individual plays. And luck factor could be involved in every individual play. In such mechanism there would be many points for luck factor - but for lucky result it would be necessary to have luck at few points in the row.
- At the end - I think such mechanism would bring more tactical aspect to the game.

1. That´s not up to me nor to you to expect. It´s up to the PPM community.
2. Ok, and you are right. A good simulator has outupts close to RL is not the same as outups close to RL implies good Sim. Pure logics.
3. I never even though you were a messy, just wrote your concepts are. If you want to come to Rio we will play good soccer someday. But changing my mind needs a lot more than some bad English. Cheers!

sure not completely wrong, what you say.
But the Game engine get a little better every season.
Just one courius question: Why do always the Teams, who play first League and international
(Champion League,Cup of Cupwinners) moan about the game engine?
At my opinion, the game engine runs quite nice for them...

That´s because those tend to be the strogest teams and thus that´s where the heterodox results most likely occur.
