Vlady: Your forwards should be playing worse when you play on very low. That's the whole idea. They will attempt long range shots instead of getting closer to the goal and therefore they will have a lower percentage of hitting the target. Goalkeepers on the other hand are not yet influenced by game importance. Not yet anyway.
Ciukitu: This applies to midfielders too ?
Vlady: sure, it applies to everyone, but it also depends on the quality of the opponent.
Sorry, but since I switched from Very Low to Normal (after i had to learn against all logic that a player playing very low trains exact the same like a player playing normal or high) I see no better playing, the results are still a random gambling.
I really hope you tune the engine soon so it works useful after 5 seasons of testing by the managers. I dont want get rid of surprises, but i want a engine where you can understand most of the results.
I´m frustrated again this season and start asking me why to support with propack. You should start to use the money to test and tune the engine instead of adding new features every two weeks. I´m not the only manager in the community who thinks this way

Where are the differences between calculating goalie rating in match report and team profile?
Ok, so I'm at pains when it comes to Team of the day, and indeed team of the season when I go to check it.
It seems the highest scorer of goals in each position gets the positions, which I do not think is right.
So, I have formulated an idea, please read the below and give your thoughts on how I think players should be chosen.
Basically I would like to see a points system brought in to each game to determine who really is the best player in any given game.
----------
Goalkeepers.
Clean Sheet: +3pts
Every 2 saves made: +1pt
Assist: +2pts (I don't think keepers can get an assist as of yet in soccer)
Defenders:
Clean Sheet: +3pts
Goal scored: +4pts
Assist: +2pts
Midfielders:
Clean Sheet: +2pts
Goal Scored: +3pts
Assist: +2pts
Forwards:
Clean sheet: +2pts
Goal scored: +2pts
Assist: +2pts
-----------
I know this will take a re-working of sorts, but it will give an accurate rating to players who actually play well.
There is too little criteria set for team of the day and team of the season.
If anyone can enhance this system, be my guest...

Thumbs up! Definitely the Team of the day needs to be fixed.
Assists are a must, mostly for the midfielders.
And for the defense, it's about time that the denial of shots and goals is taken into account.

i agree also Emerald, i think its a great idea. however should midfielders get more points than forwards for scoring a goal?
and maybe since for goalies you have +1 point for every 2 saves made, forwards (and midfielders?) could get +1 point for every 2 goals they score
@eric: It doesn't matter, because keepers will compete only with keepers
We can talk about it only if we talk about The player of the season.

in the gk criteria there could be pass interseptions. They do not count as saves.
And what do you think with clean sheet on def, mid and att?

Thanks for the positive feedback lads.
One thing I forgot was penalties against each position also.
In addition to what I suggested in my last post, I would also suggest the following:
Goalkeepers:
-1pt for every 2 goals conceded
+3pts Penalty save
Defenders:
-1pt for every 2 goals conceded
-1pt for yellow card
-2pts for red card
-2pts for penalty miss
Midfielders:
-1pt for every 2 goals conceded
-1pt for yellow card
-2pts for red card
-2pts for penalty miss
Forwards:
-1pt for every 2 goals conceded
-1pt for yellow card
-2pts for red card
-2pts for penalty miss
------------
If a system like this was to be introduced, the points would be irrelevant as a goalkeeper will only be vying for a position v a goalkeeper, and so on throughout the pitch.
Jabcek:
Goalkeeper interceptions should not count. Otherwise they would need to be counted for the outfield players too, and it gets into a realm of complicatedness.
Erictheeel:
I would think a defender getting a goal would be rarer than a midfielder, and even rarer than a striker scoring. So I think points for a defender scoring a goal should be higher than other positions.
It would be on a declining scale if you know what I mean...
Regarding mulitple goals, I think a bonus should only be given out to players scoring a hattrick, rather than 2 goals scored. Maybe a bonus of +3pts?

One question:
I´d like to understand what cause determined these two actions, which ended in direct red cards for our players:
soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
They were fouls commited with the elbows, and the first one in an attacking play.
Someone thinks it has to do with the tactics at all, or simply random? Thanks.
