Same reason a real athlete will never train Exactly the same day to day. Fluctuations in energy are a natural occurrence.
Yes, it is a Gaussian. Take his training over a couple months and you'll start to see a nice bell curve.

I've seen some pretty massive fluctuations (1.91-1.80) but I suppose 0.11/1.85 around 5%

Many teams have built their teams around them. Bid on guys, win 1 in 20 or so but end up getting 1000+ OR guys for dirt cheap.
No one does that canucks.... Stop giving away my plan to success! Haha virtually every player but my goalie was an rfa when i got him.

Most of my players are over 1000. Highest bid I got against this guy today was 3 million. My nearly 1200 OR guy got only 1.5 million on him. Chump change. How high have you had to bid to get the player?
I landed a 1100 Dman with a high shot attribute three seasons ago fot 15 M$.
Resigned a 1100 center this season, the bid was 20 M$.
