What is the different of these 2;
Game gives penalty for teams having a gaping whole on one or both side of the fields?
Games "senses" that the gaping whole means more possesion for the team with better formation?
Just you playing with words but the give the same result. Try your LF as LM with the exact same matchup so we have something more then your gessing? We seen examples of not using LM/RM that works so it just seems you are wrong.

I will not lose any more time on this.
Enjoy in thinking that actualy your CM passes to your LM and my CM is leaving his place at center and your LM passes back to CM that makes my CM looks like a fool - and who knows what else your players can do

Say your CM dont move out, then you have the whole flank for free, cant see why the possesoin numbers should skyrocket from this.
Anyway, the GE is probably not that advance that it trackes player movement, but the end result generated is the same. As I said, you are just playing with words and the outcome is the same. Try your LF as LM so you at least have something to base your beliefs on.

Havent you listened? Novakoni and IzzaX know it dosent work so your game must be resetted and re-played.
Well - as I can see - better team play at home and lose possession because of penalties.
Penalties act on possession.
+ In that match away team was playing just trough the middle.
My point from beginning is that penalties are blind and can't distinguish - covering side with other players from totaly empty side that have no cover.
And if someone thinks that I have a tremendous need to show to all that I know how engine work or how smart I am - he is making a big mistake. From begining of this game I am trying to put a pressure on PPM team to make as better engine as they can - that's my only goal - because I enjoy in tactical - not in market battle.

Am I idiot or what ??
player A :
mid 167
sho 26

player B :
mid 168
sho 80
pas 115

Similar energy. Both player have chemistry 100, and rating 15 !!
player A no shooting, and have same rating.
I know for engine changes but this is really ridiculous.
So for now on, I will NEVER train shooting for players besides forwards !!
But now game becomes boring

Something different now, to the guys that have more experience with international cups:
I understand that when one qualifies for CL or CWC that has impact on sponsorship offers for next season. And it has an influence on the offers in the season afterwards too, right? Is this directly linked to how well one fared in the cup?

Oh, I never trained shooting for players except forwards anyway. Just counting the number of shots each player got on player stats made it obvious why!
Good for you. I have almost all mid players with huge shooting (over 70-75)
(.
But if this is true, game will become boring. For example, I want to train shooting for all players, but if I do that I will become weak, because somebody will not train shooting, and we have same rating, and same strength. I;m really disappointed with this

Now shooting is included in player rating. But now we don't have shooting category in team information.
Oh, I do. My midfielders get 40%-50%.
But DonPR is right, it doesn't really show in the ratings. But I still think it's worthwhile nevertheless, since ratings don't show the whole story.
For example, lots of defenders shoot goals at the moment, in my team, but in others as well. And most of them by head (at least in live). That could be related to the fact that they are usually the only ones who get that skill trained.

Yes, it should be included, at least it clearly shows that it is for strikers. But in my analysis of player skills I can't see that for midfielders. Maybe the impact is too small. Nevertheless, I can imagine that it is more important than ratings show (I hope so at least).
If a midfielder with high shooting skill would play in a match in which he'd have many shots on target maybe it would actually reflect on his rating.
Just an idea..
