I gots playas in camp this week.

The United States won in overtime against Italy yesterday, 5-4.

Next week, the United States plays Ukraine in a tuneup for the World Championships. All healthy starters will be playing next week so that I have an idea of the relative strength of the team going into the World Championships.

In two weeks, the World Championships start. The first game will be against a relatively weak Estonian team. The following two games will be against the United States' two biggest rivals for promotion - Slovenia and then Canada (who will also play each other during the first three games).

If you haven't run your camps yet, it would help for starters to get any extra training and experience possible over the next two weeks.

So far the United States' record is 9-4 this season. The United States is 3-3 against 4 top division teams, 0-1 against U20 teams, 1-0 against division II teams, and 5-0 against 5 division I teams. The United States beat two of the top division teams that it lost to in other games. The final game is a rematch against a division I team.

Hey capsaicin I'm sending players to camp tonight. Not sure if they'll be available tomorrow because I don't know if I made the deadline. Just a heads up. In fact, I don't even know if any of my guys make the lineup for tomorrow, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Sorry about that - I didn't notice until it was too late to take them off the roster, so they ended up playing anyway. I wanted to get an idea of the strength of the team and improve chemistry this weak anyway. You actually have three players on the team, though one your goalie is the third string goalie (who is pretty much just as good as the second string goalie); your tied with the High Hitterz and the Psychos for the most players on the team.

The United States won a wild 7-6 game against the Ukraine today. The United States ends the exhibition season 10-4 and undeafeated against division I and division II teams (in 7 games).

Barring injuries, today's roster represents the roster I plan to use for the World Championships. The United States has a significantly stronger roster than Ireland, Estonia, and Turkey (who at least has a good, but not a better, goalie), unless they suddenly sign a bunch of good players (with no chemistry) at the last minute. The United States is slightly stronger than Slovenia in offense, defense, and goaltending. Canada is very comparable to the United States but has still has significantly weaker shooter. Argentina has slightly weaker defense and goaltending but actually looks like the biggest rival for the United States this year.

The United States starts off in a week against Estonia and will then play Slovenia and Canada - the tournament could largely be decided in the first three days. The fourth game is against Argentina.

Don't worry about it. I was on vacation this past week and traffic delayed me enough to miss the deadline as far as setting even my U20 team. Oh well.

After one game, the United States finds itself in first place based on goal differential. The United States beat Estonia 8-0 today, outshooting them 45-14. The powerplay was a bit disappointing though, scoring only 2 goals in 7 chances. Contributing to the effort, fourth liner Ambrose Ramsey scored 2 goals, and second liner Stanton Staton had a goal and 2 assists.

I tried to conserve a bit of energy today, and it hopefully paid off based on the result.

In the other games, Bosnia beat Ireland 7-2, Slovenia upset Canada 4-2, and Turkey sort of upset Argentina, forcing them into overtime (despite being significantly outshot), but still losing 7-6. As a result, the United States has a significant lead in goal differential, and two of the biggest contenders have already lost points.

The United States plays a very important game against SLovenia tomorrow. The next few games will likely decide the promotion aspirations of the United States.

It turns out the Argentina actually won in regulation. They still only have a +1 goal differential.

The United States won again today in a very important game against rival and tournament host Slovenia. The score was 2-0. The United States failed to convert on 2 powerplays but managed to kill 5 penalty kills. The United States outshot Slovenia 28-27. Starting goaltender Mack Gaudreau stood on his head to steal the win and collect his second shutout in a row. Goals were scored by third line center Jimmie Dexter and second liner Stanton Staton.

With this win, the United States will hold onto first place and gain a 1 game cushion on third place (in addition to the +10 goal differential).

Slovenia now has one win and one loss. In the other game so far between the other two teams with points, Argentina managed to beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-3. Argentina is tied with the United States but only has a +2 goal differential. In the other games, Canada beat Estonia 4-1. Turkey beat Ireland 1-0. Both teams have 3 points but low goal differential (+1 and 0 respectively); they are also tied with Bosnia and Herzegovina (+4 GD).

Tomorrow, the United States will play another very important game against Canada, a competitor for promotion. Canada is almost as good as the United States except that it has significantly weaker shooting ability. It should be an exciting game tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.

Thank you! I would like to run again and am currently a candidate (though I joined a few weeks later than everyone else). I will run again unless the United States doesn't promote: if I can't promote in two chances, then I will give someone else a chance. Promotion seems very promising though.

The United States remains undefeated after 3 games, winning 2-0 against Canada while outshooting them 2:1. Second line center Joakuin Fellows scored the game winner and assisted on the empty net goal. Mack Gaudreau continues to singlehandedly will the United States into division I, remaining perfect after 3 games. The penalty kill remained perfect as the power play remained relatively disappointing.

In the other games, Slovenia beat Estonia 6-4 but failed to capitalize on the chance to improve goal differential, Bosnia beat Turkey 4-1, and Argentina routed Ireland 6-1. At this point in time, Ireland and Estonia are winless, Canada and Turkey have one win with low goal differential, Slovenia (+2) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (+7) have two wins, and Argentina (+7) and the United States (+12) are undefeated.

Though nothing is certain, the United States has a great chance at promoting having already beat 2 of the 3 other main contenders with great goal differential. Argentina will still has to play 3, as does Bosnia and Herzegovina. At this point, Turkey, Ireland, and Estonia don't have much of a chance. Canada should win 3 or 4 of the remaining games but shouldn't be able to make up the 2 games and goal differential against the United States. Slovenia could still be a contender.

Tomorrow, the United States will play the third major contender, Argentina at 1:00.
