Douglas Colbert is for sale. He is clearly one of the three best goaltenders of his age group from the United States and could very well become the best in the future with good training.

Yeah, I'm selling him because he will never surpass Kevin Clinton skill-wise and I figured I could get some money for him, while he actually gets some playing time for another team. It will probably get me some serious money. He used to be my backup but I got a very experienced goalie to fill that role, however with a slightly lower rating at the moment.

I screwed it up I made some "small" changes but failed to win the match even though we had more goals opportunities.

Don't worry about it - I got your messages and decided to assent to your changes. I was worried that Turkey would suddenly use normal since they were using offense every game. I didn't want to use breaking up, so counterattacks seemed acceptable enough. I should have changed it to defense.

To be fair, Turkey does have great goaltending this year.

they didnt start with very low on first period neither. I was counting on scoring enough goals in there to secure the win.

I think that was just because they were playing Estonia that they used very low for one period.

The United States lost against Argentina 4-2 and Turkey 4-3 in a shootout. The game against Argentina was pretty much a toss up. Turkey got lucky in the third; they also have a pretty good goalie and seem to have saved energy for this game.

It's unfortunate, but the United States still has a good chance at promotion. Estonia and Ireland are eliminated. Bosnia and Herzegovina will be eliminated unless they upset the United States and have a lot of other things go their way. Turkey would have to beat both Slovenia and Canada, though Turkey actually suddenly looks like a contender. Canada needs to beat both a resurgent Turkey and undefeated Argentina. Slovenia and Argentina play each other tomorrow. Argentina also has to play Canada. Basically, the four other contenders will beat up on each other while the United States tries to run the score up against an average Bosnian team and an Irish team that lacks a goaltender. Argentina has probably clinched a spot with 15 points though. Though many things could happen, the key decider will be whether Slovenia loses at least one game (of two games that are about 50-50).

The first line has struggled, but the second line (Fellows/Staton/Robertson) find themselves among the league leaders. It has been really helpful that the United States has an elite first line and a second line with elite scoring ability. Mack Gaudreau still finds himself duking it out for number one among goalies despite the last 2 games.

The United States plays Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow in a very important game at 1:00 p.m. Be there, or be the polygon of your choice.

The United States won 5-0 against Bosnia and Herzegovina, outshooting them 37-14.

In the other games, Canada beat Turkey 2-0 and Argentina beat Slovenia 6-1. Argentina has clinched first leaving one spot open for promotion.

The United States currently holds second place with 13 points (+14 GD), Canada has surged into third with 12 points (+7 GD), Slovenia holds fourth with 12 points (+5 GD). Everyone else is eliminated. If the United States wins, it will promote, even if it wins in extra time (unless Canada or Slovenia get lucky and score a ton of goals).

The United States will play its final game against Ireland at 1:00 tomorrow. Ireland has 1 win, 5 losses, 11 goals (half from their game with Estonia), and 28 goals against. They are actually only slightly weaker on defense, offense, and for shooting, but they have a significantly weaker goalie unless they find a new one for tomorrow's game. Slovenia will play a strong Turkish team while Canada will play an undefeated Argentinian team.

With a 3-1 win against Ireland (they didn't as comfortably as I would have liked, but it's still a win), the United States has officially promoted back to Division I.

The United States will compete against Belarus, Lithuania, Romania, Italy or Sweden, Brazil, Ukraine, Switzerland or Portugal, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Belgium, and Argentina next year. I will be running again nex year since the United States promoted.
