I saved us big time today in the market. One of our best U18 player was going to be sold for about 35M for a team that had very low facilities. Used my money to bid a couple of times when finally a team with great facilites came and bid so i let him go

I was one second from putting in a $57M bid on him. The time left hadn't updated properly. I did manage to pickup Fred Reimus
Somewhere some manager with too much cash and not enough sense is cursing your name.
i saw your bid and i just let it go
there was a player i wanted to prevent going to a bad team but the time wasnt updated properly neither. But it was a 16yo 500 OR so not so big deal.
my biggest problem was that the bidding time was way too close to all players.

Yeah same. I had just woke up so monitoring 6 tabs wasn't easy. Eventually I gave up on all but 2.
The 16yo 500 OR player had pretty low qualities. I had him scouted.

I wanted to buy some youngsters from Leggman today but just got home and didn't get a chance to get anyone at the deadline. Hope all of them went to good teams.
well, my team wasnt ideal for any of the players but sure didnt want a worse team than mine to pick them
the internationals i will bid the opposite, try to keep a good team from buying lol

Travis Beecher
he is not in the U18 team and if i recall didnt have the best qualities but at least for my team he would be a good player

The United States managed to eke out a 7-2 victory against Turkey today. The team more or less included the starters that will compete for the world championships.
Overall, I would call this year a bridge year. The pool of talent isn't nearly as strong as it was last year (though next year should be much stronger). Carpenter and captain Butcher will at least provide a strong first D pairing (though even they won't come close to replacing Haus). I suppose Willman has the potential to be an above average starting goaltender. Louie Lance and Wes Austin (among others) will be dominant next year and pretty good this year. Overall, there is enough depth to put together a decent and balanced team, but there is a lack of spectacular players and a dropoff after the third or fourth line.
Next week the United States U18 National Team will play Sweden. All of my challenges for the third week (and only for the third week) were rejected, so I was forced to accept a request from Sweden. It's probably going to be a rout.
Next week, I should be able to make a post about the preliminary abilities of teams from Division I. The United States will compete in a division with Argentina, Lithuania, Italy, Brazil, and Bulgaria.

I really wanted him but that was about 5 times the money I have around. No chance for me.
