Yes but my 2nd Goaltender is trained 195-115-115 so I aproximated 205 of strengh for him.
You should contact saint2e, he has a program that generates best lines and predicts strength to pretty good accuracy. I wonder if the method you're describing is exactly what he used.
Ill wait a day or two to see if he answers to that post on the forum then ill contact him if you say i should
I wish there was some way to be notified that people were talking about you on the forums.
Looks like we're talking line ratings and "adjusted primary" type discussions. It's been a while since I looked at this, so let me catch up on the conversation here.

I was always of the opinion that Offense ratings for a line was based primarily on the centre/wingers, but I'd be willing to change that opinion. I would imagine that Chemistry and "Adjusted Primary" (aka, Player's Ratio Primary + percentage boost for experience) would be factors.
I was never able to come up with a solid formula for calculations though. I'm willing to put my head to the grindstone again to try and figure it out with you. I think we already have shooting down, and we seem to have some knowledge of goaltending.

Im in east canada so its late now, but tomorow ill make a clean verSion of my xls file and show the results
OK,
assuming trained ratios of 2-1-1;
assuming EXP of 100 adding 10%;
assuming CHEM of 100 adding 15%;
assuming Energy effects negative
I use the following formula to predict the strenght of my lines.
for Goaltending : 0.3*(0.6*G(1st)+0.4*G(2nd))
for Offense : 0.425*(AVERAGE(OFF of fowards))
for Deffense : 0.425*(AVERAGE(DEF of Defensmen))
for Shooting : 0.55*(AVERAGE(SHOT of Skaters))
Results vs Real
G : 78 vs 78
DEF : 101 vs 99
OFF : 114 vs 115
SHOT : 78 vs 77
DEF : 88 vs 87
OFF : 87 vs 87
SHOT : 57 vs 59
DEF : 73 vs 73
OFF : 75 vs 75
SHOT : 49 vs 47
DEF : 51 vs 51
OFF : 38 vs 38
SHOT : 26 vs 26
Defense of fowards probably have an impact
Offense of defensmen probably have an impact
Shooting probably have a different importance for fowards than defensmen
EXP and CHEM effects are probably a bit different than the ones i used

Nice!
Shooting was worked out at one point, it is not equal for fwds and D but D do impact.
Also, energy impact is non-negligible and CHEM @ 100 gives 10% not 15%.

Shooting indicator per line (at 100% energy)
6.88 * [LD(sho) + RD(sho)] / 100 + 16.16 * C(sho) / 100 + 15.1 * [LW(sho) + RW(sho)] / 100
6.88 * [LD(sho) + RD(sho)] / 100 + 16.16 * C(sho) / 100 + 15.1 * [LW(sho) + RW(sho)] / 100
assuming Energy effects "negative" not negligible lol
That's the one!
So 7% of each D's shooting plus 16% of C's shooting plus 15% of each W's shooting gives line shooting strength.

I read negative but you didn't state the relation. I assume you mean negative 1:1 slope?
Which makes shooting of Centers most important. Those who have clue of hockey have told me that irl wingers should be more important in shooting though. But well... as basically no one in my entire country is able to play that sport with ice under the feet (we mostly play field hockey) I am not sure about that.
