Play each one in each of the friendlies this weekend. Higher goaltender OTS takes the first start. EXP is huge in playoffs but energy is critical too. Maybe start #1 and switch to #2 in the 2nd/3rd no matter what the score is before his energy "drops off the cliff" too much.
how much difference does an injury make to a players ability? Like if I play him with the bandaids is he reduced by 25%?
i am not sure quantitatively, but they perform worse if they have more days left for a full recovery rather than a few days left. also, they risk getting a bigger injury (i think the guide says that), but i haven't had that myself happened to confirm
Thanks for the advise man. Hopefully I win tomorrow!
In reading the election thread I see a lot of people talking about training passing for wingers now? SHould it be trained to the same level as passing and agr? half of the secondary?
are there things changing with tech for defensemen? I dont really train it much now...

I haven't found much use in training passing but I still do for those who have the Qs. I aim for 20-35% of primary.
I train passing in wingers if they have a high Q for it, as well as a high agression for centers who have a high Q for it as well. This gives me more flexibilty in who i can use in which position. Mind you, this is only a few of my players so its not a widespread thing.
But every 100 you put into passing is 50 less in primary and 25 less in each secondary.
Yes I realize that, but I also have too many centers and not enough wingers, so the centers with OK aggression are being trained in that until i can get some actual good quality wingers. So I have a few floaters. Which I dont mind at all, its come in handy.
It's a risk you run, training outside the core attributes... I tried it out once, and didn't see any noticeable improvement, so I'm loathe to do so again.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice with my goalies. I won! No relegation for me this season!
i noticed the same.. however, training passing for wingers might help certain pp tactics. cycling comes to my mind
I think people give the sim engine far more credit that it deserves.
I personally think the engine is relatively simplistic and generally does most calculations as a line strength as opposed to individual players.
