What about their shot percentage?
I read also (that may even be in the guide) that technique also affects shot selection. Something like if the technique is low, the player will take more bad shots as the same player but with higher technique.

Im a fan of high tech aswell, i dont have a player in the starting line up that has lower tech than agr and at least 2-1 off to tech been noticing less penalties agains better teams this yr. Shooting pct for my defensive pairings is not very high to begin with , i got hammered for the first 30 games and scored very little. Just curious that the less talented one seems to be the go to guy more often than not. Tks
Can someone confirm that playoff placement games (ranks #3 to 8) are not considered as playoff games, meaning there's no sponsor penalty for playing with crappy team?
They are placement games. Sponsors will look at the P/R I think and adjust accordingly. Though final standing influences sponsor offers too.
i'd say the mix is the best way to go. quality for the obvious reason (50 from 6 years old kid vs 5 from kovalchuk example from DavidBengale), but if the player's sho quality is low that it's not worth training it as high as other forwards, then focus on the off only. this way, he will shot more. what does this mean? spend more time in the offensive zone. if the forwards' offense is better, then the other team's defense won't be able to defend them and send the puck the other way
how do I make it so that when I view players I view it in the pro way, so that you can see it with the decimal points? thanks.
I could figure it out for the one time thing, just wondered if their was a way to make is permenant. guess not.
do players who play during the season train less at the end of it then at the begining becasue their seasonal energy lower? such a when their energy hits 90, do they train at 90% of what they would if their energy would be 100? or does it make no difference?
Training is only impacted by the difference between end-of-game energy and seasonal energy. Example: a player with 50/65 would train the same as a player with 85/100. The regen facility reduces the impact of this by creating an effective difference. The actual difference will be 85/100 per se but if you have a high RF the training engine could see it as 95/100 or something.
ahh ok. just wasnt sure if it was worth playing young players or just waiting until they are 18 and they have had 3 seasons of full training.
They'll train faster if you don't. BUT... they'll lose out on EXP. Thought friendly game EXP is low so... your call.
I was throwing them on my 3rd/4th line and keeping them out of friendlies, their not popular so I don't get more fans out of them, and figure they can have a whole day of training.
i happen to find this happen seasons after seasons.. personally, i keep players out of the lineup unless they're close to making the line for maximum training (exp from friendly games are not worth the loss of training for my team due to low regen level. exp from league games are worth it, but then my team will get demolished)
