How come I didn't win ball possession of the midfield in the first half even though it's clear that I have:
-better midfielders
-midfielders lined up to maximize their play in the middle, one of his midfielders is pulled back
-chose to play possession football, he's playing normal
-two of my defenders pulled up, towards midfield
-home team advantage

Because you played MR.
You won possession on MR but not on L.

I didn't win possession on R and I barely won it in M. So I doubt that's the reason.
You didn`t play on possession 90.min, only 45.min, and possession is not everything. In 1.half your attack power was much lower

How do you know you didn't win possession in first half (MR) ?
Even if I did, it's for a lot less than I should get. I really did place my midfielders and even defenders so that I would win possession in the midfield but it seems something prevented me from doing that.
Don't get me wrong guys, I'm not trying to find a flaw in the system. I'm trying to understand the system.

Maybe if your right defender wasn't placed to center you would gain more possession.
Man of the Match award: negative effect for missed penalty?

Player missed 2(!) penalties, his team is defeated and he is "man of the match". In fact, he was the biggest loser of this match
This could be repaired. "MM award" is not only about positive activities (shoots, assists, goals..)

Indeed, the MM award is a joke.
Indeed we gotta review the mathematics regarding man of the match introducing a higher penalty to the total score of the player for losing penalties.

I m having some doubts whether to invest in lvl 15 HR management or lvl 15 Training facilities...
Is there some kind of calculator to calculate a potential increase in sponsorship offers and what does if affect. I m in 1.1 always around relegation zone, but avoiding it successfully every season...
Or is it better to spend this money on training facility and slowly improve my squad and wait for HR management until I have a stronger, more competetive team with better results

Really hard decision, no calculators, just opinions. I would go for the HR given the current level of your players and maybe consider selling a young star to put up the training.
