Do the side defenders have influence on the offside lines?
I mean... Playing with the defenders in line can maximize the opponent's offsides?
If you can't answer that I understand since it's kinda of a "spoiler" about the game tatics.

If you have 1 forward you will get much more offsides than if you have 3 forwards.
Increase your stadium capacity and improve your HR & Economic Dept.
Also, try to get good positions on League.

You're on top division. Your stadium should be 80000 seats with almost everything maxed out.
Consistently participating in international cups is key. I've been absent for 4 or 5 (or more) seasons now and in turn I'm competing with teams whose sponsors and OTR are far superior to mine.
You're right. But did you see his stadium?
It's just too small...

Yeah, the CwC and CL is good for the sponsors wuth the 10 % extra sponsorbonus.
As are his facilities. Regional leagues are nothing like country leagues. You can't just say "you're in I.1 you should be rich!" since it doesn't work that way. He has half the managerial experience in soccer that my team does, starting in season 5.
Plus, I think he shouldn't spend money on restaurants, souvenir stores and these stuffs on the low capacity areas of the stadium.
He should buy this stuff when the seats are on full capacity, otherwise he'll need to demolish everything and he'd lose the invested money on the process.
