So, problem is in relations that is set as constant in game calculations ?
I don't understand the question. To my knowledge, there is no problem.
I used to think that on higher importance it would be the offensive team with more offense but then i sat and watched a number of EPL games really closely and was quite surprised to see that while the offending team may have set up a play, 90% of the time the ball ended up with the defending team who then passed it up and out of the zone. Kudos to the programmers who nailed that down

This can be true only if away team really did changed the position of their players in defence. Bacouse if ratio offense/defence has stayed the same, home team had to have bigger possession in second half.
so...having trouble deciding something...It seems that I am strong enough to fight for promotion in my league, but is that smart for me? Should I put my importance a notch higher and go for promotion to leagues III regardless of my low OTR or should I stay here for season or two and pump up my OTR and build some objects before going for a promotion to III? Its tough decision, if I go up I will have better sponsorship, loose less OTR, get promotion bonus, but also will be in much stronger league, because of low OTR have my sponsorship lower than most of the teams in league III, making my OTR probably even lower in 1st season even maybe falling back to league IV again...and than lower sponsorship again etc...well, actually the answer presented itself while I was reading what i wrote. If you go for for long term success than the answer is actually pretty obvious.
But nonetheless I would like more opinions, as this "answer" I suddenly got might as well be just my tired, sleepy mind playing with me before going to well earned rest.
Good night all, hope to get some opinions on this.

There are multiple ways to answer this question.
But the most simple reply is this... yes, increase importance and promote.
Some will argue that you'll get more OTR staying down. That might be true, but you lack the real challenge that makes this game so great.
Going up a league means you face tougher opponents. You'll lose more, sure, but you'll also have a bigger challenge for you as a manager. I almost guarantee that you'll find a whole new type of enjoyment for the game that can only come with this extra challenge. Losing might happen, you might even get relegated a season later, but you know what... you'll be able to say you gave it your best shot.
So yes, promote if you are able to, it's the best option

is there something wrong with GE, or is something wrong with my forwards????

There's nothing wrong with that game from what I can see. You both have fairly even teams, although your opponent was much stronger in the midfield which would affect your teams ability to set up plays.
Maybe Bope gotta train just a little more shots. They are usually good at it.

You had more possession, but your opponent had better skilled midfield. Possession means more chances, but not necessarily better scoring chances.
Last week Newcastle United (my beloved team) beat Manchester United 3-0. ManU have, on paper, better defense, better midfield and by far, better forwards, yet it was the toon lads who got the win.
Losses like this happen. Realistically, the loss isn't "too" bad. It sucks to be the person that loses, but it was a close game that really could have gone either way.

hello everybody!
i have a strange match here:
soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
home team played with a 4 left defender.
how is possible he obtained 58% possession? or why he had +3.7% and 4.7% on wings playing with one less midfield? and how to explain his possession on away defense?
thank you!
