Then get yourself an Academy 15 and good Sporting Directors with 100 in youth training and you'll get a chance to be first pick too...
It's not like it was a new rule, it was there Day 1 for the half season draft...

Doesn't make it right or make sense just like Big men picking up 80% of the fouls all the time..

Imagine if we lived in a world where we just went ahead with "well, that's just the way it is"

And I don't know if Hooligans was one of those teams but the fact is this game allowed teams to buy their way into division 1 when the game launched, the rest of us had to work our way here...Either way Hooligans has earned his position but he doesn't need any more help...I don't care if I don't get the draft choices as my teams gets delivered fine prospects, in fact every single player on my team was promoted from within..Not a single bought player

It does make sense to give an advantage somewhere for the teams that invested the extra 250M$ for their academy.

And if the teams with the best SA didnt have an advantage on one of the two draft, every top prospects would suck because the bad teams would draft them and they don't have a good academy to start them at a good OR and they don't have a good Training Facility to develop them.

Wouldn't be a problem if there was actually some good players in the drafts, but we can't even get ONE "A" player in every draft, would be real fun to finally see one and watch him be wasted in a bad team.

That's how it works in real life soccer. Big team gets better player because they are rich, and PPM is based from the european system.

And I don't get your " this game allowed teams to buy their way into division 1". Do you mean paid with real money or paid with buying player on the market?

In this game Hooligans has way more money - way miore than anyone and get buy any player he wants...When this game started...Wish I kept an exact way they did things but getting into Division 1 right off the top was something that could have been achieved witrh real money...Anybody out there remember how that worked?

I really don't understand what you mean by buying your way to D1. Maybe it was happening without me noticing, but I clearly didn't do it lol.

I went back to see what the rules were for buying way into division 1 when it all started and saw you commented at the time on the subject so can you refresh how that worked

I didn't start in I.1. Only in soccer did I start in I.1.
