Agreed re: Ed. Center. However, teams have found success investing only in players initially and trying to win as much as possible out of the gate. There are two good options really.
I invested a lot more in older players When my team was new. Built some facilities but major priority was players.
I guess trying to find a decent balance is the key. I feel I have done a decent job upgrading my arena and facilities as I now generate significant income.
Player wise I have an ok balance of young and old so should remain competetive next season.

i would just add, try not to get into a spending frenzy. try to keep some kind of cash float just like in real business. infrastructure is key to long term, however, a little cash on hand goes along way when a key player comes along, and u just can't pass him up...
Hogwash. Spend it all if you want to. Take out a loan and spend more than you have if it's worth it.

So I won my first playoff round and am facing a certain loss in my next round. I have some players I want to sell, that are in my lineup, but I think I would get more money now because of people buying for playoffs.
This would lower my ots a bit. Would that affect my sponsor offers for next season at all? Or should I wait and sell after playoffs?

You're not going into the P/R round so you should be fine. However, the market seems a bit flat to me right now.
I don't think people are currently buying players to help them in their playoff runs. No chemistry. Hang onto them and protect your offer.

During the last week is also a good time.
Personally, it is a period where I take a good hard look at my team to determine where my strengths/weaknesses are which may need to be addressed through the market. This is the case for me, and likely others, because I'm running a post-season training camp (or two) and trying to figure out what my opening day roster will look like.

Just wondering, everything that happens on PPM (games, next day updates, etc) seems to be delayed for an hour.. Is this supposed to be? or do I need to change my time region?
I'm already in the Atlantic (Halifax) region which is an hour ahead of the Eastern Time.

I should've said "time zone" instead of time region.
Europe hasn't started DST yet. They start Sunday. Sunday things will return to normal.

Hey guys,
I have made the finals of my league but don't feel like I am ready to promote. My opponent in the finals has a better team so should win the series. Does that mean I will not promote? Or will I go to the relegation round?
If I am going to automatically promote then I will be going for broke and try to actully win the final series. If not then I will likely sit tight and continue to ready my team for next years promotion
