Two questions here.

When do we get our prize money from regular season?

Any idea how much dressing a weaker team to avoid promotion will cost me in Sponsorship money and how I can go about minimizing the damage?

Ahh! So I made a big mistake in picking up a couple cheap players then eh? Should I just promote and suffer for a season?

It is based on OTS. If you want to lose, player your best players on VL with bad tactics.

I normally wouldn't be like this, but I just started up my new team a couple weeks back and division 3 will beat me up really bad..

I feel like on VL with bad tactics my team still might win...

So swap in a junk goalie after the first period. That'll still drop your OTS but it will have the biggest impact on results with the least impact on OTS.

Are playoffs best of 3 series?

If so is it beneficial for me to throw game two to force a third game. I am heavily favored in this round so am wondering if the extra income from a home game is beneficial?

It is best of three, and some people do that. HOWEVER, it has backfired a few times and my advice is to just win when you can. The energy saved added to the chance you could lose makes it not worth the few extra bucks from a 3rd game.

Next questions...I have just been awarded almost 7 million dollars for player and team awards, how would you recommend spending it.

I plan to build the last large stand up section in my arena and am desperate for a top end (600 OR+)right defenceman.

Should I spend the rest on facility upgrades or is it best to hold on to some cash for a "rainy day"?

There is no right answer but there are wrong answers. So long as you don't spend it on staff you should be okay.

Not really any rainy days on here. Best to spend the cash now because you'll have facilities faster which is better.

I'd say invest all in your arena/ facilities now and don't spend any on players. The more you build up facilities the better players you get later will be. If you finished top 4 in your division and are staying in the same league you don't need to buy players now. Just spend every penny you have on facility and you'll be better off for it later.

Also don't upgrade your Education Center anymore. It's a waste of money.

I second this. I've seen so many teams invest in players and a couple seasons later there no further ahead.
