Can anyone give me some Powerplay advice? I'm ranked second last in my league (last is an inactive team) What kind of players are the best for powerplays?
Personally, you want to make sure you have your best players for the PP.
For a start, experience is a must-have, so avoid players with low experience.
You want to ensure you have at least 1 setup guy and 2 BIG shooters. I like my Center to have great passing and technique and my wingers to have really good shooting.
For defenders, shooting and passing are also a must.
In short, go for the big 3:

Since we are on the topic I have a couple questions myself:
Does anyone use the tactic of 4 forwards, 1 D-man for PP? What type of forward would you recommend for the D-slot?
As for PK, would it be worth trying 3 D-men, 1 forward?

Last season, since I didn't have a D with a high shooting attribute, I used a center with a great shot on defense and it worked well.
The game engine will penalize you if you don't use 2 forwards and 2 defensemen on PK.

Crap, now the Devs are going to spend the next 3 months working on that as opposed to fixing anything else.

I have a question about arenas and media sponsorship. Lets say I have an arena capacity of 5000 I then build a triple floor in an area that had 500 seats so now its 4500 (+2500). If the section is not due to be complete until after sponsorship offers are given, what amount will be looked at when considering the offer. 4500, 5000, 7000?
