But in the end you have in most cases a weaker team on the field when having a camp. So even if you dont plan to lose on purpose you end up with not putting the best team on field for those matches. That was my intention to say

My team is and has been on camp for about 10 days now. I wanted to get maximum out of the camp, as I waited for TF 14 to be done, but then I had to wait almost another week to get on the plus side economically to buy a few temps.

Yup, but as PPM would say, at the end of the day it's a managers choice to hold a camp during an important game. If you don't want to risk the lower sponsor offers, hold off and do the camps after. Simples

I agree. It is totally my choice. But it is also a difficult choice to make, as I don't know how big the consequences are for loosing promotion matches. My camp is timed so my players are back to the league cup games. And I will most likely win it in my league, and go forward and win 3-4 rounds in the SLC next season. That in it self is worth a few million in ticket sales and also gaining OTR.

And on a side note, I was leading the league when I first sent my team to camp, and lost 2 out of the 4 last matches due to it. And I kind of forgot that there were promotion matches so early :p I am a hockey man, and thought the games were in the last week of the season like in hockey... But my mistake, and I have to live with it. Nothing I can do now to play a stronger lineup next match.

I must admit, while I understand the need for PPM to have this thing with sponsor offers, there are times when strategically holding camps etc to coincide with important games. It's a tough position to be in, especially as it was an honest mistake (not sure mistake is the right word, but you know what i mean).

I think ignorance might be a better word. My football team has not received the love it needs from me.

I have a question about the new substitution...
I don't understand how works the "send-off" function... I think I have to choose the player sent off (for example LD) and then i have to reorder the other players making eventually a substitution but what make me think that this way could be wrong is that the player that i have chosen, doesn't disappear from the line up as i expected... Which is the correct way??

You have to drag a player from the bench (not from the pitch) and drop him on a player you wish to substitute.

yes i know this because normal substitution works perfectly but with send-off i'm not sure... for example: i click send-off then LD, now i have to put a new LD instead of a CF, i simply have to change the player as usual?? because the Ld that have to be sent-off stay in the line-up as a forward... it's ok?

How much do you train shooting for CAM? Is 70% too much?

What do you mean by "CAM"? Central midfielder? If so, yes, I think it's too much...

I train that position a 50%, but some guys only train shooting for strikers.

Shooting gives not higher rate on a midfielder !

I dont train shooting on my midfielders, I think its better they play midfielders and let the strikers score...

As long its not getting a higher rate on the player I think its worthless.

you are wrong there. Shooting does increase rating of midfielders. But even if it didn't, it is still an attribute needed to score a goal and it is used by any player who attempts a shot.
